This is a vibrant and sturdy replacement cover for your saucer swing. It is a cover only and does not include the foam padding that encircles the swing frame. Since these covers are waterproof, the foam on my swing was still in ship shape and so while the cover did need replacing, the foam did not. This product was exactly what I needed to refresh our favorite backyard swing. It is so worth replacing the cover as opposed to getting a whole new swing.Installation:The product doesn’t come with instructions. While it wasn’t difficult for me to understand how to install this replacement cover simply by looking at the swing, I suggest looking at online videos to learn how if you aren’t an everyday handy-person.Some notes:The swing itself has 4 eye hooks around the saucer base that connect the saucer to ropes. The ropes then join to form two ‘swing handles’ that then hang from your tree, beam or swing set.The eye hooks are secured with nuts.One purpose of these covers is to protect the person on the swing from the metal hardware. Therefore the cover has 4 little ‘ports’ that slip over the eye hooks and nuts and then secure over them with a Velcro strap. These are part of the entire circular cover.To put the cover on one must unscrew all 4 nuts. You win need a wrench to do this.Disassemble the eye-hooks and/nut assemblies, remove the old cover, and then lace the new cover over the foam. Having two people to put the new cover on is helpful.Replace the hardware and secure the Velcro. Reattach to the swing ropes.It is not necessary to unhook the swing ropes from where they are connected to your tree or swing set. The task only needs to be completed at the location of the saucer swing itself. So don’t go climbing into the tree etc.It does sounds complicated but in reality it’s just methodical. As I mentioned above, if you take two minutes to watch a video you‘ll be happy you did!A very worthwhile purchase.

The fabric is of good quality, it’s thick, durable, and easy to clean. It’s pretty easy to install and cut.
