I got this backpack, not expecting much from it, but to be honest, it exceeded all my expectations. I would like to start with a couple of cons that I found:- The manufacturer states that it’s mainly 900D nylon or an equivalent, but it does not truly feel like 900D; it feels closer to 500D. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a nice fabric and seems resistant enough, but I just thought I had to bring it up.- The amount or organization is very minimal. Not a lot of internal pockets or sleeves, you may want to use pouches to organize your loadout.- I’m also not sure if it’s 40L either, it seems a bit smaller, but size can be a bit deceiving. That being said, it is plenty big for a weekend or even a week-long trip.- It does not have an actual padded laptop sleeve, so keep that in mind. If you want to have your laptop in this backpack, I would recommend using a laptop case or sleeve and making sure not to drop the backpack on the floor.Now, with the few cons out of the way, I would like to address all the things I liked about this backpack:- It’s got lots of MOLLE webbing for attaching things/pouches on the outside. You may want to grab a MOLLE water bottle pouch, for example.- The hook and loop patch on the top pocket is fairly big for any velcro patches you may want to toss on there.- The main pocket features a clam-style opening, which is really nice when you are packing the backpack for a trip.- Double compression straps on the sides allow for effective compression of the backpack.- Bottom compression straps are also available, which is great for storing things like jacks or hoodies on the outside of the backpack.- Both the materials and the stitching quality look to be very, very good. I couldn’t find a single bad stitch on the entire backpack.- Double zippers with paracord zipper pulls on every pocket.Overall, this is a solid backpack and, for the price, I doubt you are going to find a better alternative out there. It also seems that the company is committed to producing good products at a decent price.

We prefer laptop bags that can double in terms of carrying other kinds of gear and clothing on occasion. This particular tactical bag, is rather decently made but is not really tailored towards carrying a laptop. The interior compartments are very generalized with large spaces and no padding for a laptop to avoid impact when the bag is put down. It is bare fabric on the bottom, so that will be subject to some abrasion over time. There are no rubberized bumpers on the bottom, which would be the one area for possible improvement.That's not to say this is a bad bag at all. It's just not really designed primarily as a laptop bag for the price of $42.99 at the time it was ordered.There are tons of elastic straps littered throughout the exterior of the bag to attach whatever kind of weird stuff you've got to attach. There are big loops on the bottom and on each side of adjustable straps, that can secure rolled up towels, umbrellas, water bottles, etc.Again, there are no specialized pockets designed for specific electronic things, but that's fine. You want to jam this thing full of clothing and pack items like food and whatever for a hike? Great. This bag has your back. Pun intended. Just don't expect a lot of protection for a laptop, unless it happens to be surrounded by squishy clothing.Great for a tactical bag, which is how it's advertised. The price is reasonable for what feels like pretty durable construction.

This 40L blackout pack is solid and low profile, perfect for a gray man setup. It’s a little smaller than I expected but still roomy enough to hold all the essentials. I’m setting it up as a get home bag for the car and it fits that role well.The material feels durable and the construction is clean. Zippers and buckles are solid and the stitching holds up under weight. There are multiple compartments inside to help organize gear and the outer MOLLE system is well stitched and functional. It gives you the option to add attachments without making the bag look overly aggressive or flashy.The straps are comfortable and well padded. The back panel has good airflow and support. I also like the subtle look with no loud branding or color accents.
