The glass part is really cute, but the sealing gasket has a chemical smell that can't be removed by the baking soda or heating methods. I researched and could not find a supplier for these gaskets, even using AI. I have ordered a sheet of food grade silicon that has reviews that said people cut their own gaskets successfully. I will update if it works.UPDATE: Ha! I had tried and saved the baggie of vinegar and I put the gaskets for a second round. The 2nd time worked! So, if you do this method, just leave it in for more time or if necessary, overnight. I am very happy! I will still try cutting my own, because what does it mean that the odor goes away? Maybe the chemicals are still in the product?

The item is perfect; I’ve been looking for a glass jar to make 34oz of yogurt in, most jars do not hold that amount. The jars also needed to be the right size to fit 2 jars in at once. The jars work for what I need.

Nice set of containers & the wife liked them. I must say, they were very well packed for transport, so it's unlikely they would arrive damaged.
