You need the frame of a greenhouse and covering material for it. This set provides the means of connecting that material to that frame, in a way that will have no leaks and it's relatively easy to replace the plastic. Rather than screwing the plastic directly onto the frame, you mount these channels, then use the wiggle-wire to lock the plastic down into the channel.Then when the plastic inevitably needs to be replaced, you just un-wiggle the wiggle wire, take out the old plastic and insert the new plastic.This set is 40 3 foot pieces. It is also possible to buy 6 foot pieces, but then if you needed a shorter piece you would have to cut them. The set also comes with the self-tapping screws you can use to screw the channel down onto the outside of your frame. The materials are good and should hold up for years in the weather.It comes in a fairly small light box. This is not the framework and is not structural. It's just the means for attaching the plastic to the frame.

These are half as long as typical lock channels. These are 3.28’ while others I have purchased are 6.56’. You get 40 in this pack, equivalent to 20 in another pack. These shorter pieces are ideal if you have a smaller project requiring shorter pieces. I wasn’t thinking about the length of these when I ordered them. I don’t mind lining up several short pieces, but that’s more time spent screwing down pieces. It’s just something to keep in mind if you have a larger project.This bundle came with a lot more screws than my previous purchases of other brands. You need a minimum of two screws for each channel, total of 80 screws, leaving 20 extras. I’m happy they accounting for needing more screws plus extras. And they also included a drill bit. Nice.The quality of these lock channels is on par with lock channels I’ve purchased in the past. They are not quite as wide as the other brand, and just a hair shorter on depth. They appear be same quality. I’m using a hacksaw to cut pieces to length. You just need to cut through the curved part of the channel, then you can easily fold the piece in half and it will separate into two pieces. It can leave a rough edge, so wear the included gloves so you don’t slice your hand. I don’t wear gloves and have not yet cut myself, but be forwarded those cut ends could be sharp.Overall, I’m happy with this product and the ease of installation. These channels are doing a great job holding repurposed billboard vinyl in place. I’m not sure the mil of the vinyl, but it’s quite a bit thicker than my 6 mil greenhouse plastic. These channels are handing it like a champ.
