This is the perfect adapter! I bought it after I purchased a gym grade treadmill and needed the adapter. It works perfectly and so does the treadmill as a result! It came in a two pack so can't go wrong!

The first one felt like I had to wiggle and push a little too hard to get it in the outlet but didn't think much of it, until about 20 mins later and I smelled burning. I followed the smell and found the plug (never plugged anything into it yet, melted and burnt. I got a pot holder ( as it was still hot) and removed it. I tried another plug from the pack and tried inserting it into a different outlet , but I noticed that the prongs were slightly off preventing the plug from easily going into the outlet. This was the case with all the outlets I tried. The first one I assume must have been slightly off as well and must have come apart or something when I put it in the outlet. Who woulda thunk? Only name brands for me here on out! Thank God I was home!

I have a power strip where the plug is flush with the wall and the cord comes out at an angle. This made it impossible to plug in my ethernet powerline adapter at the same time. With this I was able to move the power strip's plug away from the wall and get around this issue. Doesn't seem to have any effect on the connected devices and the adapter is cool to the touch after running for days. Problem solved, easy 5 stars

Love silver plated connectors, they don't leave a smell like the yellow metal. Bought these as risers for those stupid big boxes that block the other contacts in a power strip. Worked perfectly as they are slim and tall
