These are too small to clamp around my Poolvergnuegen's hose, without constricting it. They are buoyant and may work well with slightly smaller diameter vacuum hose. That said, I was led to believe these would fit Hayward / Poolvergnuegen hose, since PVX280PK2 is the part number for those floats, and that style cleaner is pictured in one of the listing photos. In their defense, the inner diameter is listed as 1.57", which had I measured my hose, I'd have realized is too narrow. My search for floats that fit my vacuum hose continues...Adding three more photos, comparing to genuine PVX280PK2
