These are terrific for holding screws in hard to reach locations. Makes your job much simpler. Works with power as well as manual screwdrivers. Great addition to your toolbox.

OK, I tried them and found them more trouble than they are worth. These little gizmos really do not hold the screw very securely. You still have to go through a balancing act to drive the screw. They are awkward to use and just do not do what they are supposed to do very well at all. Better to find another method, these are a waste of your time and money.

I haven't tried the original Vera version of these but these knockoffs were a lot cheaper and work really well. It's like having an extra set of hands up there when you're reaching to put that one little screw into the ceiling fixture.

I think this is probably just what I need based on "simulations" of the situations that caused me to buy them.I had to replace the battery in my Waverunner. The battery is low in the back and not particularly convenient. The battery terminal uses a Phillips head bolt. The last time that I removed the battery, I dropped the &$%^ing bolt! Making things worse, the bolt is non-magnetic. I searched for a solution to keep this from happening the next time.While I have not had to mess with my Waverunner since I have received these, but based on "simulations" with other screws and bolts, this looks like it will prevent this from happening again. If I find a fatal flaw that my "simulations" did not reveal, I will modify this review.
