My sister gave me her Instapot as she knows I like to fix things. Did a little research and this little Thermal Fuse was all it needed to be good as new. Really an easy repair if you're sorta handy. That was 2 1/2 years ago and it's still working fine.

I fixed my instant pot with this. I thought it would get damaged using soldering iron but nothing happened and the job is completed.

I got this fuse to fix my Instant Pot Ultra and it worked like a charm! I'm grateful to YouTube and the people who make how to fix it videos. If you are looking for a fuse for an Instant Pot Ultra, you found the right one.

Not much to say except that the one I used works, well actually I don't know if it will open up when hot enough, but I haven't left my intermittent use only tool longer than I should. I was happy to find them so I could fix my tool for a dollar or so instead of buying a new one for $45.

First time starting up furnace and noticed no heat coming out of vents. I checked all the other things along that circuit and they all checked out. I know flow is fine because no vents are closed and the exhaust blower vent to outside is not plugged. So I just assume after so many years that little thermal fuse just corroded apart on the inside. I cut the old one off and soldered the new one back onto the tabs on the ceramic piece. And furnace has been working just fine since then.It was either buy one replacement thermal fuse with the ceramic piece or 5 of these individual thermal fuses for the same price. I already have a soldering station and everything so that part was easy and the solder would melt at a higher temperature than what it's rated for so it worked out.

These fuses appear to be a perfect fit as a replacement for the original fuse. My Instant Pot worked immediately after i replaced the fuse but within a couple months it failed again. I replaced the fuse again with another one of the package of 5. Things seemed to be back on track for another couple months before the Instant Pot caused a short circuit and tripped the circuit breaker in my fuse box. Sparks flew out of the receptacle and almost burned off one of the plug prongs. I could only attribute this to the replacement fuse. Rather than take another chance, I bought a new appliance.

I used it to repair a Nesco 700 watt food dehydrator which just stopped although in perfect condition. This is apparently pretty common with Nesco dehydrators (really it is the sensors that go wrong with a lot of things that are otherwise working perfectly). I took the dehydrator apart, saw nothing wrong with it so I figure it had to be the thermistor. I researched it online and then bought the part and soldered it in. Easy and the dehydrator works perfectly. Now... what to do with the other 4? (I purchased more than one just in case one was defective).

I had no idea when I bought these that they came from China! No wonder they took a couple of weeks. They are exact matches for the heat cut off in the Nesco Harvest Oven, which I bought and used maybe 60 times before it just did nothing. I actually bought an all glass magic chef oven to replace it from Homeboy Depot because I have been cooking with these sort of convection ovens for years now. I love the convenience and the timer shut off and the food from them is great... I took apart the Nesco, no info is on their website on how to do this, and no youtube videos either... but I popped it apart and saw how simple it was and looked up the parts and figured this is what had failed. Where are radio shacks anymore? Anyway, I soldered it in the place of the old one and put it all back together and it has been working fine ever since. Good thing I have 4 more to solder in when this one blows. Thanks O'Bama! ehalol
