**Build Quality:** The clear plastic is stronger than expected, and I believe this will survive in a working environment. It weighs 669 grams, while the OEM XC 5.0 weighs 729 grams. The sizes are almost identical.**Function:** The fit is a bit tighter than the OEM but not unreasonable. It runs basic tools just like the OEM. The battery referenced is a 5.0 XC, which is a basic, non-HO, non-fuel type of battery, so I did not push this one, as I don’t push the 5.0 XC I have.My go-to test for capacity is running a 2357-20 Milwaukee M18 PACKOUT Light/Charge at the brightest setting with all the lights on. I got a runtime of 3 hours and 24 minutes. That is respectable, just under some 6.0 non-OEM batteries, and better than my 5.0 XC (but that battery is now 4 or 5 years old).I think the case is cool and it's a decent functional battery. There are better values at this price point, but some of them don’t perform as well regarding capacity and definitely don’t look as cool.If the battery had internal LEDs that lit up when the battery was in use, it would definitely elevate the coolness factor. So until they add this feature, I will give it 4 stars.

Wanna be the coolest guy in the shop (at least for a moment)? I got this for my son to use for his home tools since his regular tools are mostly at work which left him needing an extra charger home as well. He instantly loved that it was clear as he's never seen one. He charged it up and it fit perfectly to his drills. Locked into place easily and there was no over or underlap anywhere. He just had to show the guys at work. Kinda funny when a battery charger can draw a small crowd plus it's a great product and works exactly as it should.

The 5.0Ah, 18V battery replacement worked perfectly in all my Milwaukee M18 tools. In fact, it lasted even longer than my comparable Milwaukee batteries. It's actually pretty cool to have it clear too because a lot of people comment on it. Then you add the great price, and it couldn’t be better. There is only one item I could possibly say would be an area which needs improvement, and that would be the push button 4 square hole battery charge strength light. During the daylight it is hard to see how much power your battery has (1 bar through 4 bars), because it sort of bleeds together. It looks like the light is set back with no barriers between the square holes, and it bleeds over from one section to the next. I included a daytime picture, and it does seem better than it is, but you can tell how it is supposed to be on only 3 ovals instead of 4, but the light is leaking into the 4th oval. If I didn’t zoom in with the camera, it would be very difficult to see, but when it works this well and is a low price, I don’t see too many construction people checking their batteries every 5 minutes and instead just wait till they die. In all, I still give this a full 5-star rating because of the quality, length of charge, and clear casing. It works better than my Milwaukee batteries and does take a beating without any issues.

Brand new out of the box, this battery did operate a tool, however, when I connected it to my charger, it will not charge - the indicator light on my charger registers that the battery is bad.

This battery is overall solid. It works great powering both my drill and my oscillating tool, and charges on the charger just as though it were an official branded one.The only minor issue I noticed was that while it fit fine on my drill, only one of the two clips successfully locked into place on my oscillating tool. Not a huge deal as it was still totally solidly held in place, but something to be aware of.All in all, especially for the price, this battery provides a compelling alternative to the name brand!

I'm always on the look out for spare batteries for my tools, and I like to try the different aftermarket brands to see if there's any good ones out there.This battery is "just OK". The clear plastic is a cool novelty, but functionally, it's nowhere near some of the others.Inserting and removing is pretty difficult, but does latch securely once you finally get it in. Electrical contacts are fine, no issues there. Battery life feels like it's about right for a 4-5ah battery, but that's not from any sort of specific capacity testing or anything.Once installed, this battery moves around quite a bit, pivoting up and down a lot at the front. It just doesn't fit great.It works, and is a pretty decent price compared to OEM, but it definitely has some fitment issues. I would look at other brands at the same price.

This fits my Milwaukee 18v tools and charger. I have a pole saw that I use a lot and it works great. The battery has good operating life. The case seems durable since it gets banged around in the forest. I have no complaints with this battery.
