Works as needed. Fuel line seems like the weak link in the assembly. t is prone to kinking, and does not seem to have good abrasion resistance.

Within one month of being installed between plastic gas tank and 6hp Evinrude in a rowboat, exposed to sun, the rubber hardened and became so brittle and weak the hose began to break repeatedly just from normal use. Very poor quality. The tubing is NOT designed to hold up to normal gasoline. Waste on money. Amazon should not let crap like this be sold.

This hose is replacing a dry rotted original hose on my pontoon boat. Fits the Yamaha 90 hp just right. 10 ft. was a bit much in length, but for the price it can't be beat. Good purchase. 👍

I spent months trying to figure out why my 50HP Yamaha PRO 50 motor bogged down at top speed. Would hit top speed for 20 seconds, then bog. (repeat)Unfortunately, I hadn't just replaced the gas line. I changed a number of variables: I had replaced the tank, the line, added a sender to the tank, switched tank fittings, switched fuel filters... The works. That made it harder to figure out.One of the pictures for this fuel line says it works for motors up to 200HP. But, after changing many of the things I just mentioned, the fix to my problem was to replace this fuel line with a 3/8" line. No more bogs.Ironically, the label on the line I chose to replace this one had a little chart that said 5/16" line would only work for 40HP and smaller motors. 3/8 was 50HP and bigger. In other words, the picture saying this 5/16" line would work for a 200HP motor almost can't be correct.
