I have been using the regular portafilter that came with my Breville unit for around 2 years. It has consistently made good coffee so I was skeptical that this new unit could make a difference. I was wrong. The open bottom, plus the screen, has made the lattes that we enjoy every day even better. Hard to believe but it is a fact. Take it for a test drive.
