I used it the other day when the OEM battery ran out because the grass was long and wet. It worked just as well as the original that came with the mower.

Nice replacement battery for B&D 3 ah battery. Fits my drill, runs like it should. Goes into my charger and the charger works like it should. Much better price than OEM.I do wish these had LEDs to show battery level but OEM doesn't have that either.

I bought this battery as a replacement for my Black and Decker drill and impact driver. It charged up quickly (charger not included) and I used it in both to remove some rusty bolts and it worked perfectly. It holds its charge well and it a perfect replacement, honestly virtually indistinguishable from the original battery that has died a long time ago. I’m happy with my purchase.

I have many tools that use 20 V Black and Decker lithium batteries (blowers, hand drills, garden equipment). All lithium batteries lose some capacity after multiple discharge-charge cycles. So, I am often looking for a replacement battery. This is a good third-party battery. It looks exactly like a Black and Decker LBXR 20V battery, and it fits and operates with Black and Decker tools but it doesn’t say Black and Decker anywhere. A branded Black and Decker LBXR battery on Amazon costs twice as much and has half the capacity (1.5 Ah versus 3.0 Ah). This shows that there is a compelling case for purchasing this third-party battery. That said, one should be cautious about purchasing third-party batteries for e-bikes, especially ones that advertise fast charging. E-bike batteries have higher voltage output, often 50 Volts, and much more energy storage, as much as 30 Ah. Another useful indication of a battery capacity is Watt-hours, which measures power output and is the product of voltage times current capacity. This LBXR battery can produce 60 Watt-hours, while an e-bike battery might produce as much as 1500 Watt-hour. (An iPhone battery might be able to produce 20 Watt-hours). Amazon has strict rules that enforce the laws about the transport of high-capacity lithium batteries. But for third-party batteries, the quality of the interior components, the manufacturing process and testing protocols may not be known.

Received this Black and Decker aftermarket battery the other day. My original batteries, (2AH batteries), were not lasting long while operating a blower. And yes, this battery fits my old 20v Black and Decker Blower perfectly. I really like the battery strength button with indicator lights, but this aftermarket does not have them. I repeat no battery strength indicator lights. So, once again when using this battery I will not know if I am grabbing a fully charged battery or one that is almost depleted. It locks in the blower solidly but when you try to remove the battery it is stuck. It help that the release button is slotted making it to press the release button. I found out that if you hit the back of the battery with your palm it releases the pressure against the battery and you can then easily press the release button. Maybe after a little wear and tear the battery will be easier to release. I like having the slotted release button but I do not like to guess whether the battery is charged or not, no battery strength indicator lights. Now I will test the strength and longevity of this battery. This is still a great battery.
