These would make good cheap replacements for cab lights which have broken, or maybe for new installation locations. I thought I would try the lenses and bulbs to replace some of my cab lights, but the lens design is not compatible and the base needs to be replaced as well.These bases come with screws, but I would probably remove the cab headliner and reuse the bolt/nuts from the factory. The wire pigtails can be spliced unless factory sockets appear undamaged and copper contacts are clean. The rubber feels pliable and is fresher than the 25 year old bases on my F350. Should remain waterproof, or a little silicone can be applied under them.The included bulbs have distinct beads which are visible through the transparent housing. Viewed from a distance, they look ok and sufficiently bright despite using less than .9w/bulb. The socket locations are close to the lens though, and don't allow room for different bulb styles which extend higher from the electrical socket. So when these bulbs burn out, one may be challenged to find compatible replacements.Since it is raining and snowing here at the moment, I haven't had the opportunity to fully change out the bases. But, I'm willing to drill a couple of holes in new locations if these work out, they seem compatible enough in design and will add more style and visibility to be recognizable around town.
