I ordered these to eventually be given to the homeless via my longtime volunteer job with the Society of St Vincent de Paul. I am in Wisconsin so they would be even more useful if they were thicker, taller socks suitable for winter. But still, at around fifty cents per pair this is the best sock deal I've ever seen and I so appreciate that they are packaged by the pair. We have always given away socks at this program but when normally when we buy retail packs of socks they are fastened all together with stem tags, or else all the socks are just loose, they're never bundled in pairs. But these are bagged with each pair in a little cellophane bag with a cardboard header (which is all in Chinese except the English words "foot cover" lol). They are not attached to each other within their bag, you just take them out and they're ready to use.You should not plan on them fitting all men but they will fit the vast majority of women, and adolescents. I wear women's shoe size ten and these socks may be slightly small even on me but they do work just fine and they look just fine too. I don't think they would fit a large man well! They are basically women's and smaller men's size socks. The style is certainly unisex. It's fine since I separately ordered 20 pairs of extra large socks to give away to the bigger guys.To our homeless people these are not going to be disposable, they would wash and keep using them, at least in the warm weather seasons, so I tested them in the laundry and I am happy that they do wash up absolutely fine, only showing normal fabric wear. So, "disposable" does not mean they couldn't be laundered and reused repeatedly. They are reasonably durable.

They say disposable but they really don’t have to be! These socks are thin and comfortable. They come basically retail packaged as if you were selling them by the pair. I ordered them for my oldest because she is spending 3 weeks in Europe and I thought that socks she could just throw away was a good idea. We’re keeping the rest and adding them to our daily sock use because they’re really comfortable. They are thin but we prefer that.
