The 1/8" side has wide housings and won't fit in some applications. This cable is better in that regard: "3.5mm to 6.35mm Stereo Audio Cable, JSAUX 6.35mm 1/4" Male to 3.5mm 1/8" Male TRS Bidirectional Stereo Audio Cable"
