If you’ve ever put vinyl edging down than you know that you have to anchor it a lot more secure than the 8 pack of spikes that is supplied with the 20’ section of Easy Flex edging. These spikes are a very close match to the originals and work just as well allowing me to anchor the edging at every third anchor point leaving the finished job very secure. Being made of a polymer and not steel they will bend if they hit rock or other similar obstructions while driving them in so do be aware of this. Overall these landscaping spikes worked very well for my project.

Long enough but not very sturdy. Had to put a guide hole in before using the spike or it bent!Also the spike head came off some of the spikes when we were hammering them in.

These stakes bend at the first bit of resistance. I purchased these to let me stake my no dig edging at shorter intervals. I have hard clay type soil. The stakes that came with my edging worked great. I started to run short of the provided stakes and switched to these. I hammered and hammered, with a rubber mallet. They went in maybe an inch and wouldn't go any further and started to bend and twist. Thinking I had a stone or something in that area I moved over a couple inches and tried again. Moved another couple inches repeated the effort. Every time I got the same result. I grabbed a screw driver and wallowed out a hole a little smaller diameter than the stake and tried again, still wouldn't go in but rather twisted and bent. I finally grabbed one of the remaining original stakes and tried. It went in no problem. Tells me it isn't the soil but a cheap stake. I wouldn't waste my money on these unless you have very soft soil.

I misplaced my stakes that came with my garden molding so ordered these. They are great except when you have hard ground like I do and have to pound them 8 inches. Otherwise, they are good and sturdy.

Recently purchased plastic edging roll from a major home improvement store. Very easy to install but only came with a handful of stakes. Very frustrating! Was able to find what I needed at Amazon (of course!). Two days later, I was able to complete my project. Product quality is good. Price was reasonable

I needed more for my edging than was provided with it. They are quite sturdy, I broke 'one' on a rock I didn't know was there.
