The motor seems very powerful but the blade kept getting stuck and clogged by even the smallest pieces of fruits or vegetables. Also, when the machine would get clogged it would keep spinning at such a high velocity that there would be a burning smell. After my one and only juicing, I took it apart to clean and realized all the clogged spinning had melted the plastic around the round blade and I was afraid that pieces of the plastic were ending up in my juice.

This is my second juicer and am pleased with the performance and ease of use. I have only juiced carrots so far but I have had zero problems getting the carrots to juice in their entirety. I use the juicer every day and it is effortless to construct and breakdown. After juicing, I simply disassemble and throw away the waste, rinse and put on my top shelf of my dishwasher. That's it!Edit: After using this juicer every day for a month, it no longer works as it did new out of the box. I have to drape a towel over it to keep the debris from flying everywhere and the motor seemed to get louder over time.If you cannot afford a juicer, I would still look around at other options. This one just doesn't hold its value.**Amazon was great to allow me to return past the window of return.

I used this four times and it is not good. Juicing carrots,the carrots fall on over, grind down just thin enough to jam between the basket and the input chute and melted the bottom of the chute. Plus it blows fine particles out of the vent in the top and they go everywhere.

I absolutely love this machine. It's so easy to use and the clean up is a cinch. I have freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast and I also love the fresh lime juice for my margaritas! The cylinder is a little tricky removing, but I push down as I turn and that seems to work.
