I am a 3d printer hobbyist and I got this kit because it contains many of the common sizes that thread inserts use for various 3d prints. Everything is sorted, much better than trying to find correct sizes in my garage.Seems good quality, includes a hex wrench (I have way too many of these)

I'm a former consumer electronics technician, and one thing is constant among the manufacturers - they LOVE M3 size screws. It seems like every tape deck, CD player, car stereo, receiver, or tuner has at least 100 or more M3-threaded screws. Drop one, and you have a problem if it was a particular length. I got this kit of screws to mostly solve that issue. I hate searching the bench or floor area for a tiny little screw that's fallen from something. Sure, I could look for it, but if I'm positive it went under the bench, RIP little fella, because with this nearly perfect set of screws, my problem is solved.The lengths provided are comprehensive and meet 90% of my needs. Whether its fastening a circuit board to a chassis, or holding a tape deck capstan in place, this kit has the screw length needed. My only wish is that the heads were DIN/JIS or Phillips, but I'm quickly starting to like the hex drive heads, especially easy with ball end hex drivers (metric sets are available here on Amazon ).The included carrying case is nice - it slides neatly into my machinist chest's top drawer, at arms reach if I lose a screw or need one while building a project.The black oxide-like finish is nice, and although not exactly perfect protection from corrosion, in my needs, it'll suffice.Likes - Every conceivable length is included, Hex keys included, Index of sizes in on the inside of the lid, and the included small nuts and washers are a bonus.Dislikes - Not much to dislike, although I wish Phillips and JIS assortments were this complete and priced the same.All in all, a complete kit with very nice quality M3 threaded screws , washers, and nuts. Versatility at a very low price.

Not sure why the listing shows "button head cap screws" because those are two different types of screw heads. These are button head screws, and the pictures confirm it. Maybe correct the listing title.The screws themselves all come individually sorted in baggies, inside the box. Which is nice, because these boxes are always terrible. So only taking out the ones you need it nice for tidiness. Some of the screws are better fit than others, but the cost is so low, I have enough to satisfy my needs. Overall good to have a bunch on hand for electronic repairs.

I picked up this M3 screw assortment for some 3D printing projects I’ve been planning, and it’s exactly what I needed.There’s a nice variety of screw sizes, and everything comes neatly packed in a sturdy storage case. Each size is separated in its own ziplock bag, which is a great touch—I’ll probably leave them in the bags just to make sure they stay organized and easy to identify.The case itself closes securely, so I’m not worried about it accidentally popping open and spilling everywhere.Overall, it’s a solid, well-organized set that’s perfect for makers and hobbyists.

I make stuff and have done it for a long time. Times are changing and almost every manufactured thing I have to assemble these days is metric. I got a 3D printer and it seems like all the file designers are using metric. It's everywhere so I have to adapt.I'm building up a second hardware collection now, this time in metric. I'm trying to focus on M4-M6 as the most pragmatic sizes for what I do but M3 will be useful to me as well and this kit should give me a lot to work with.Recommended. If you've ever priced out little bags of metric screws or nuts in hardware store you can see what the value is here. 710 parts in this box. the box is good too, should hold up okay and has dividers.

Good kit with plenty of screws and enough washers and nuts for each. The M3 is true to size and fits M3 threaded inserts used as part of learning about 3d printing and fabrication programs for kids. Each different part comes in its own sealed bag, so you aren't going to receive a box of mixed up screws, nuts and washers. Wish it would have come with a 2nd wrench since I've already lost the one, but that's on me and nothing to do with this set. It's got everything you need (as long as you need m3).

I do repairs on small appliances and electronics for a local thrift shop. Having an assortment of small nuts and bolts is useful for that purpose. This is a fine assortment of small metric M3 nuts and bolts of various lengths. The nuts thread smoothly onto the bolts and the black coating on the pieces has been applied evenly with no missing areas. The various parts come packed in small zip lock bags so they don't get scrambled during shipment. The compartmentalized plastic case holds everything nicely.The price is very reasonable. The assortment comes with 710 pieces, but 500 of those are nuts and washers. There are 210 M3 bolts of various lengths.I measured the parts:bolt diameter 2.9 mmnut diameter (point to point) 6.2 mm (flat to flat) 5.4 mmnut thickness 2.4 mmwasher thickness 0.43 mmwasher diameter 6.5 mmhex head uses 2 mm Allen wrench

The listing claims these are "socket head" screws. Socket head screws are also known as cap-head screws. They have a cylindrical head. The bottom picture in the attached photo is a cap-head screw.This assortment isn't socket-head screws; it's button-head screws. The top picture in the attached photo is a screw from this assortment.Product is misidentified. Not recommended.
