  • Quality Material: This hay bag is made of high-quality 1280D Oxford cloth, which has excellent abrasion resistance and durability. The tight stitching enhances its tear resistance, making it very resistant to animal tearing or biting. The inner layer of this hay bag is made of water-resistant material, which can ensure that your hay is always in the best condition so that your pet can enjoy delicious food. Please rest assured that this hay bag can accompany your pet for a long time.
  • Stronger Metal Snap Fasteners: Our hanging goat hay feeder for horses have sturdy metal snap fasteners, compared with traditional plastic snap fasteners, our metal snap fasteners are much stronger and less likely to break. We have strengthened the metal snap fasteners to make them thicker and stronger, it is corrosion-resistant, even in a humid environment for a long time, it will not rust. It is very easy to use, you can remove and put on the bag by simply pressing the snap fasteners.
  • Large Capacity and Cross Design: The hay bags measure approximately 14 x 7 x 18 inches, which can store a large amount of hay, so you don't need to put the hay in it often. The round hole size is 8 inches, with a cross design in the middle, which can slow down the feeding speed of the horse, prevent the swallowing of too much food or air, and improve the overall digestive function of the horse. And it can efficiently reduce hay waste.
  • Adjustable Straps: The straps of slow-feed hay bags for horses can be conveniently adjusted up to 30 inches, and down to 16 inches, so that either taller horses or shorter goats can easily eat the food in the bag. The strap material is nylon, coupled with exquisite sewing technology, it can withstand at least 25 pounds of tension without breaking. It can provide extra stability to hold hay bags in place while your horse or goat eats so they stay in place.
  • Wide Application: The slow feed hay bags can not only be used to feed horses or goats but also as a feeder for donkeys, cows, alpacas, ostriches, or other animals, which can help you store the hay properly and prevent the hay from getting wet or dirty. It can be hung on the wall, tree, fence, stall, or even on a trailer. Whether indoors or outdoors, this hay-feeding bag is always a good choice.

Poor quality, they’re advised as being large capacity but in reality very small. Only suitable for small ponies/ small Shetland ponies or goats.. wouldn’t advise others to buy, plenty of better options on the market..

I bought these to use in lambing pens, at livestock shows, and for animals that need to be penned away from the main feeder. They work great for sheep. My goats ripped the stitching that holds the D-rings in place. An easy fix, if you can use a machine. If I bought another set, I would go ahead and use a sewing machine to reinforce the stitching before I used them with animals.

I love it!! It’s adjustable, and it keeps my pony stimulated when she is in her stall! Great product. The fabric is strong and not thin!

Wasn't sure what to expect for the relatively low price for two of these bags. I was very pleased with the quality of the construction and material when I opened them up. The size was provided in the description so I knew they were not large capacity. Knew If they were not big enough to be useful for my horses, my goats could use them. Here are my likes and dislikes:Likes:1. Well-sewn with all stress points double stitched for strength.2. Softer type webbing (although not not the softest available). The opening for feeding is large enough the webbing should not cause teeth or gum issues as a horse has room to use their lips and teeth to pull hay out. Yet the opening is small enough my goats with horns will not get into trouble with them.3. Strap makes it easy to hang from desired location.4. Holds an appropriate amount for smaller animals such as goats/sheep.Dislikes:1. Pay attention to the size. Unless you just wanted a bag to hang for a short grooming session or short trailer ride, these will not hold enough hay to last a horse very long. I feed from hay nets year round, available even when they are on pasture. I use nets or bags when camping as I can prefill and save time and a messy trailer. This bag holds enough for a snack for my 1250# and 1350# horses; unlike the promotional details, you would be filling this one over and over!2. The water-proof coating is a double-edged feature. On the plus side it helps keep the hay dry if used outdoors. On the negative side, even well-cured hay carries mold spores and the waterproofing can encourage any moisture in the hay to cause mold to develop, even if the bag is only used indoors. If the hay does get damp from rain, the hay will turn much more quickly in this type of bag. It also means you can't just throw the bag in your washer to clean it, hosing it off is your main option.3. The plastic buckle is not the material of choice with livestock. Although these types of snaps do last a long time on boat covers, etc. Animals tend to chew on things and the strap will not be used in a static application. Horses especially yank and pull on hay bags, so toughness under stress is needed.4. The metal buckle may be stronger than typical for the style used (per promotional material), but it is difficult to use with gloves on and the straight metal prong may be a challenge in the really cold winter weather. Only time will tell if it holds up (they typically bend or break off). Again, it is not typically the type used for livestock equipment. I will be exchanging these for snaps that are more finger and glove friendly.Overall, this bag has several positive qualities and will work well if used with its limitations in mind. I will use them for my goats when we are away as extra feeding stations to reduce the amount of hay a caregiver needs to add to their bunk.

Update 10/24/24- One bag lasted with daily use for about 1 month before the D rings at the top for attaching the strap started ripping off. The second bag had the D rings rip off the first day of use. The way the rings are sewn to the bag is not durable, both the stitching was breaking and the fabric of the bag tearing. I may add some large grommets to the top to attach the strap so I can get more use out of the bags. The grommets may last longer with how my animals pull on the bag as they feed. I lowered my rating from 4 to 2 stars because the product should last longer and should not need changes or adjustments by the purchaser to work for its intended purpose.************************************************************************************************************Pros: These bags are made of a thick durable fabric that does seem to have water resistant properties and the straps are made from a thicker webbing and are sewn securely to the bag. I appreciate that they include a hanging strap even though some of the parts on the strap are plastic (the length adjusting hardware). For horses, I find that this bag works well for hanging various sources of food in different places for enrichment purposes.Cons: The snaps are not great in regards to being animal safe or heavy duty. I will probably do some sewing and swap them out for better snaps. The photos are misleading in regards to size when you look at them in comparison to the animals. There is no way you will be able to fit their stated capacity of 30lb in this bag (at least if you are filling it with hay). I could only stuff about 5 lbs of hay in the bag. I would consider this bag to be more of a "boredom buster" or toy for a horse rather than a primary feed source. It may work as a primary feed bag for a smaller animal with a lower daily food requirement. It is also important to note that there are no ventilation/drainage holes or mesh on this bag. This means the hay could be more likely to stay wet and get moldy in this bag especially in rainy, snowy, or humid conditions.Overall, I found the quality for the cost to be fair.

I knew when they arrived that the fixings wouldn't stand up to wear, and within a couple of uses, 2 of the three bags had broken on the tie up strap, with other stitching coming undone where the horse eats from. They are also very small, so ok for a small pony if tying up or travelling but not great for much else. The material quality was good, but that's about all I can say for them!

Disappointed. One broke within an hour the first time I used them. The stitching on this one was obviously not strong enough, I will see how long the other two last.Second time of using and one clip on each strap has broken. These are not strong and robust, they can’t withstand a 13.2 pony using them!
