the hole through the fitting is like a 1/4"- 5/16' . If I was going to use it I would drill the center out considerably.. Other fittings are large with thinner wall where the threads are but this one has a very small hole. Not near enough of a true -8 fitting for flow. The npt and the flare are correct for an 8an fitting but the center isn't. not all fittings are created equel.
