The black thumb picks in the description are too large for me, and are a little thin for my preference. The red ones fit my thumb perfectly and are thick, just the way I like them. The two red thumbpicks made the purchase worthwhile in my book. The fingerpicks are not my favorites. They work fine, and maybe it's the fact that my old ones have been in use for so long, but these struck me as a little thin. Plus, they seem stamped out of metal and bent to shape with little attention paid to rounding over the many edges. These fingerpicks are only for backup for me.
