My husband wanted to use these in his fabric quiver to give it some form. He thought he might only need one or two, but ended up using the whole set to keep the form without the foam separators sliding around. He uses this quiver for his target practice arrows, so it is really useful to be able to have more with him. He was hoping that he could easily slide them in and out as necessary, but it takes a bit more elbow grease to be able to pull them out, and putting them back in takes lining them up and then pushing them in hard. Additionally, while there are 12 slots in the foam, the diameter of the arrow matters - so for his (.309 in), he is only able to use 6 slots and it closes up the others when in use. If you weren't using them regularly for target practice, having to take them in and out, it would be good for holding the arrows separate for a longer period. It then might only take a few of the foam separators at a time, allowing for more storage capacity.

Two of these help space 12 arrows. I have used these with some custom cut carbon fiber arrows and they worked smooth. With this many, I can pre make 3-4 dozen arrows and keep them in these spacers and no vanes will get bent.
