I wanted a nice see through tarp set to surround the patio below my deck. While this has nicely reinforced edging and grommets - the see-thru part is murky and would not be good for "looking" out. It also feels a little thin - while I did tug on it and it withstood any stretching/fear of ripping - the feel did not give me any confidence this would last. Regardless, not being able to see through it defeats for my purposes. For covering plants or something not serious, this would probably work but I plan to keep looking - just do not believe it has the durability to stand a hearty winter or summer season.

Wow. I ignored other reviews when ordering this and boy did I make a mistake. The material is very thin. Think high quality clear shopping bag thin. It has no durability to it and it is not exactly clear. It's more of a smokey look. The idea of having grommets on this is laughable as I can see the plastic tearing before the grommets would be affected. I would not order this again. There are others at a similar price-point that are much higher quality.

I went with this clear tarp to make a quick-and-dirty cold frame for starting vegetable plants in the spring. This tarp is pretty light weight, so it's definitely not the sort of thing you'd want to leave out in the weather any longer than necessary. I'm hoping that by using it to make a cold frame and not leaving the tarp on it all summer I might get 3 seasons out of it. At this price point, I can't really complain if I only get 2 seasons out of it.

Needed a tarp that wasn't huge, but can cover a few things on the porch. Build quality is great, good thickness and great value. Thanks!

This taro definitely feels like much thinner, less durable plastic than I was expecting to receive. I’m thinking the grommets are going to rip out of the plastic with any sort of pulling that’s slightly rough. The plastic is translucent. I would not expect this to last long. Don’t put it on anything that is sharp.

This clear 4’x6’ tarp is exactly what I needed. It’s waterproof and the grommets make it convenient to secure in place with zip ties. I plan to use it on my back porch once the weather gets colder to keep the snow from blowing in. The material has a nice weight to it and feels durable without being too stiff. The reinforced edging gives it a finished look and feel. It looks like it should hold up well through at least a couple of seasons. Decent size and great value for the money. It has nice clarity. Not totally clear and not opaque either. I’m glad I got it and already have a few more ideas for how to use it.

This is a good quality, low cost clear tarp. When it gets really cold I like to place tarps on our back deck to block the wind. This one fits perfectly and holds up to the wind. It is not super thick but does the job I want it to do. You can see through it and it allows sunshine in. This is not a premium tarp but it works well for my application.

Try not to be mesmerized by the impressive photo showing the tarp taking the form of a house, a leisurely add-on patio that hosts couples, or the extremely redundant flower house - green house. For some reason I was led to believe this was the size of a walk in closet. It is not. This is just a medium 4x6 foot transparent tarp. Nothing more. If you want to make sustainable living structures you will have to buy multiple tarps and various sizes however this does not come with instructions on how to create such a dwelling. I believe it could form a house or a windmill or whatever was presented on the items page. You just need to buy the extra tarps and correct sizes. The plastic on this is pretty thick and looks pretty weatherproof but nothing is truly weatherproof. The corners are sewn and bonded with glue so whatever you attach it to it won't break off and fly away because of the grommets. However the Grommets are attached to the very thin tarp which doesn't have the integrity too stay attached. So if the winds are very high they may blow away the tarp but grommets will still be attached securely. It's heavy enough so it will last a few seasons. As long as that season isn't in the summertime. But not a year. Anything you can get use of for more than a season is worth its value.
