This is a good value kit for some pretty aggressive brush cutter blades. With the two blades and all of the spare mounting parts, this is a really good deal (at current prices).I have not tested these to destruction, but they work, and they are cheap enough to get as spares. Or, if you normally run your trimmer with string and want some more heavy-duty backup options, this is a very inexpensive way to do that. Just make sure your trimmer is up to the task... I would not use this on a bent-tube trimmer, for instance.

This replacement blade kit will escalate your weed trimmers capabilities but, it comes with a price. Weed whacker string can hut like hell and take a piece of flesh off a hand or foot. These attachments make it possible to customize soft brush and thin limbs as well. For those who have used these before, it's business as usual. For all others, use these with extreme caution. The quality of the blade is quite good and the result of using these properly, is awesome. You can clear out an overgrown yard in a fraction of times but, you need to use this kit responsibly. The price matches the quality of the product you receive and it's was a decent deal for me.

According to the photos shown with on the description, I thought this might work with my electric Black and Decker weed eater. The package only contained the 2 blades with no adapters or other hardware, so I couldn’t use it on that particular model of weed eater.I did manage to put both blades on my hand-held grinder and try out that with that method to cut some brush and vines that had grown around my back fence. It was more difficult using the grinder with a short handle, but the blades both did very well to clear out the area so I was able to apply a root killer.I recommend to explore some videos on the Internet to see how to apply the blades to a particular model to see if the hardware configuration is compatible with your weed eater model. If you are able to attach these blades to your equipment, I’m sure you will be pleased with the results.

First off, know that you are transforming your line trimmer into something that is very dangerous. It is an open blade spinning at a very high rate of speed. No margin for error. Be safe! That said, the transformation is incredible. The line trimmer did little damage to this patch of ivy. The three pronged blade butchered it to shreds. So much so that finding and picking out the heavy roots was much easier. (Though there is nothing easy about removing ivy!) I was super impressed. I did hit a few hidden rocks along the way, which bent the tips of the blade pretty good. However, it still cut fine and after the cutting edge dulled, you can flip it over and use the other cutting edge that remains untouched! Great blade for brush and ivy. Saves so much time and allows you to actually get the job done that line trimmers are unable to tackle! Boots, gloves and eyewear though for sure!UPDATE: the full round red blade weighs too much to be effective. It gets spinning just fine but the torque required to keep it spinning is just too much for my line trimmer, which is a Makita head unit with quite a lot of power. So what happens is that you wait for full speed rotation to occur and then you go to "saw" and the blade just slows down to un-usable speed. This occurs no matter how gently you easy into the material. So this blade, I would give it one star on its own. That said, a tri-tip two pack at the same price would be the better option.
