They are large but not flat. Some are thicker on one side then the other making it lopsided it’s hard to know where to find the rocks that are large flat rocks. The ads are not what they say they are to be so expensive. Be aware what you buy I have been getting bummers lately and costly I’m about to give it up.

Almost none of these rocks were shaped like the picture. Not even close. Maybe two. Small and not remotely round.

These rocks are absolutely perfect for painting. From the size to the smooth surface. I would definitely buy them again

These rocks are perfect for painting on. They're not as thin as pictured, but they are slender, and come in different colors. You just have to rinse the dust off of them.

There were a couple that were a little small, but most of the rocks are a pretty good size. They are sanded smooth (some tiny divits obviously). Brushed on paints would probably fill those in easy. But I plan to spray paint some. So I’ll fill in the divots before I spray them for that.

The set of rocks I got was awesome!!!!!There was 31 rocks in the box …all the perfect size I wanted (3-4”) and they are smooth which is perfect for painting on. I had just one broken one ….a little corner but the shape will be perfect for painting a little mouse on it. There are different types and colors of rocks and they were very clean and smooth…I gave them a wash just to remove any dust before painting. I wish I could find river rocks like this where I live …I would be one happy artist …but I least I can buy some so happy all around.

I was looking forward to receiving this set of "flat stones" but was disappointed. The stones were not as advertised. They were grey, thick and chunky as opposed to being beige in color, flat and round. The color I could deal with, but I was looking forward to the stones being as flat as the ones in the advertisement. Feels a bit deceptive.
