I wasn't sure what to expect with this, considering that a real US Norotos shroud with the same features is around $300. I figured what the heck, if I don't like it for my modified kevlar - I'll put it on my bump helmet. (which is basically a skateboard helmet with ARC rails and better pads.)So, today was the day - the small box from China arrived.Fit up fine on my Kevlar with the single hole, and fit fine on my bump that has three mounting holes, so either will work depending on your lid.Contour of it fits both helmets with no gaps, and takes no time to install it. Runs on 1x AA battery - which I like. Surprisingly, the manual is in perfect English, and only that.My only gripes are:I could not get one in Tan / Coyote color, so I had to go with the black one. That's fine though, I can mask the LED's with liquid mask, and slap some Krylon on it - easy peasy.I was skeptical that the IR LED's were legit, since they do glow or emit a very dim red visible - but checking around, that seems to be normal for that wavelength - so that's something to be aware of. Tested the IR output with a scope I have, and it is IR functional.The battery cap has no lanyard so it could be lost, but it has some holes for a very small cord. Some small 550 cord in my parts box fixed that issue.Additional info:I'm using a surplus (like new) Norotos Rhino II, and it locks in fine.... it's a little tight, but it will wear in after some use.Not a bad product. The LED's are good for low light task stuff, dimmable, and strobe mode is handy.I only gave it 4 stars, as it's yet to be determined how well it holds up, and color.

It fits perfectly, it looks amazing on my kevlar, it’s definitely worth more than what it’s sold for, it’s pretty sturdy for the amount. The functionality is under advertised. It has many more functions than it looks. 12/10 and will be recommending to my battle buddies 👍🏽
