This is perfect! Fits together with no gaps at all!I love everything about this, and today I'm shopping for cute decorations for it. It's definitely not suitable for jumping spider Slings, as they can escape through the ventilation holes. I'm planning to create a temporary mesh screen to attach with magnets for now.My biggest complaint is probably the food door. It does work perfectly and the magnets are strong, but it's a little difficult to get a hold of it to slide it open and I worry about scratching the acrylic. This is just me being a worry wart, for real though.The assembly instructions are clear and make building this simple. It comes with extra O-rings (5), and an extra screw and nut, as well as a little screw driver and a metal tool to help remove the protective film on each side of the acrylic pieces. I didn't use this tool at all because I worried the acrylic would get scratched up. The instructions don't include any tips for using it to remove the film, so I figured better safe than sorry.The measurements in the listing are pretty inaccurate. Either that or they aren't indicating the correct areas that are being measured. One of the listed measurements was over 9 inches, and there is absolutely no line on this that is even more than 8 inches.I've taken some measurements to hopefully clear it up a bit:Measuring the inside area of the enclosure, along the base, it is 7⅛" x 3⅝".The highest peaks of the enclosure (again, inside area) are 5½" & 4½"One area to double check after you assemble it is where the peaks of the shorter and taller roofs meet. They do fit together perfectly, but it is more flexible here and could be a weak spot for escape if you don't have it pressed together well. All of the sides and edges do overlap to prevent points of escape though.I give this a 95 out of 100. Would absolutely order again (and plan to), and also plan to gift these to other people I know. It's adorable, and perfect. Can't wait to put my spider in it! By the way, if you have a hard time finding affordable decor, I've found that there are some aquarium decorations that are perfect for spiders as they're easy to clean and offer nice places for them to explore and hide. Etsy also has an amazing amount of cute 3d printed magnetic spider enclosure decor, including wick watering systems!
