I received this After Market Hayward leader hose from which indicates the seller is Hayward pool products. This leader hose is of inferior quality compared to the vacuum hose sold on Amazon that is provided by US Pool Supply. In addition, the website description indicates that the hose in grey in color, but looks like an off white. I decided to return the hose within the 30 day time frame. When I went to process the return, the return process indicates that Hayward would charge at least a 20% restocking fee (which could be more based on their discretion), and I would be charged for return postage. This will end up costing more than the $16.99 that I was initially charged for this leader hose. I will never purchase pool products from Hayward again. I will be tossing this leader hose in the trash.

My old leader hose tore so I ordered this replacement. It replaced it perfectly. Looks OEM.

Appears to be OEM quality - only complaint is it was supposed to be gray and it’s more of an off-white - much lighter than the rest of the hose.

I replaced my swimming pool leader hose with this product because the old one cracked from sun exposure. This product fits well and sturdier than the old one I replaced.

Works as replacement. Would have given it 5 stars if packaging was better. I had to lay it out in the sun to get it straight from being curled up in a bag for shipping.

So you know what this hose isn’t? A follower hose. It’s not a non-confidence, no skilled, pimply faced, adolescent hose. No sir, buddy. This hose doesn’t stand by when action needs to be taken against a cleaner. This hose doesn’t look around at all the other hoses and wonder who will make this pool right. This right here… is a leader hose. If there were a Mount Hosemore for leader hoses, this bad boy would be the first one chiseled. This hose comes from a noble lineage of great hoses throughout history. Hoses that have extinguished fear in humanity, fires in San Francisco and Chicago, a bridge in London, and even waged war against wild fires across the great state of California. If you find yourself needing a hose that takes charge, look no further than this Winston Churchill special.One star because this bad boy hasn’t showed up yet.
