My only complaint with this is how lightweight it is. Pushing the lever to get a pencil can cause the whole thing to overturn if you've got it on the edge of a table (which I did). I'm looking at seeing if I can add weight to the bottom somehow. Will update if I figure out an effective solution!

But it’s not bad 👍

This box ends the endless digging-for-a-pencil-they-like. One click and done pencil dispenser makes things easily available to my students, holds a ton of pencils, and dispenses quickly and easily. It's easy to refill and sturdy, yet portable. So glad I got one of these to replace the drawer of pencils in my room!

This pencil holder is super cute and a fun addition to any classroom! It’s made of soft wood, so it’s not the most durable, but it definitely serves its purpose. It comes unassembled, but the included instructions make setup easy. Once assembled, the pencil dispensing mechanism works well and can hold a good number of pencils. It also comes with fun stickers to decorate and label sections for “dull” and “sharp” pencils. A creative and practical way for teachers to manage classroom supplies!

5.0 out of 5 stars - This Wooden Pencil Dispenser Is My Classroom’s Organization Hero!As a third-grade teacher, I’m always on the hunt for tools to keep my classroom chaos-free, and this Wooden Pencil Dispenser for Classroom is an absolute must-have! This sleek, sturdy wooden holder has transformed my desk into a pencil paradise, making it easy to keep my students’ writing supplies organized and accessible. The design is both practical and charming—measuring about 8.9 x 4.5 x 6.7 inches, it holds up to 200 standard pencils (perfect for my class’s endless need for fresh #2s). The hinged lid keeps dust out, and the smooth press plate dispenses one pencil at a time when I turn the buttons upright, which my kids think is the coolest thing ever. I’ve used it for everything from handing out pencils during math to organizing colored pencils for art projects. It’s a lifesaver during busy mornings when I’m juggling a million tasks.I love how it looks on my desk—its natural wood finish adds a warm, professional touch to my classroom setup. My students are obsessed with the “pencil machine” vibe, and it’s cut down on the “I can’t find a pencil!” whining. It’s durable enough to survive daily use by 20+ kids, and cleanup’s a breeze—just a quick wipe. Five stars for a teacher essential that’s stylish, functional, and keeps my classroom humming smoothly

I wanted this to be better than it was. I ordered the wood version, and it looked good coming out of the box. There were two pieces to it, which should have been simple enough. Unfortunately, the assembly of the dispenser part into the wooden case wasn't intuitive or straightforward. I studied the included instruction page, but the few steps are vague, and seem to skip the actual beginning part of the directions. Since the dispenser part is plastic, I didn't want to force it into place and possibly break it. Aside from the poor instructions, the wood case is thick and smooth, but had visible glops of glue at the edges where it had been assembled. It will be cute if I can get it together, but this should have been designed to be put together more efficiently or it should have come with more explicit instructions.
