I hooked this up and gave it a test run and it seems ok. I don't have a lot of experience with pneumatic tools but my first impression is that this feels pretty sturdy and will work well in my home shop.The side handle is pretty cheesy, but I have it on there for now. The handle screws through the ring and onto the side of the tool to retain it.The fitting they included with this did not interface with my air hose so I had to use one of mine.

There isn't any wrong with this drill. It functions as a drill should and seems to be well built. Problem is it's underwhelming performance. It's to slow for small drill bits and doesn't have enough torque for the large ones. I can easily stall it out with a 1 inch hole saw while a cheap electric drill will attempt to rip my arm off. It also consumes a LOT of air. My 11 CFM compressor was struggling to keep up and I had to turn on the booster compressor (a second, 5 cfm compressor I keep around for tools like this). The only way I can see this being better than an electric drill is if you are working around flammable substances and the electric drill could cause a fire. Otherwise, the cheap electric drill is better in every way. More torque, better speed range, a lighter cord, and you don't have to wait for an air tank to fill all the time.
