It is a great paddle: comfortable grip, Toray T700 raw carbon grit, and even bounce from the center to edge of paddle. After using it for a few days, I found the paddle offering very easy control for placing. I recommend this paddle for the beginners who should put control over power in their early pickleball journey. With two free handle wraps and a paddle cover, it is a great value for money too. Got this set of pickleball paddle for my kids, they are an absolutely amazing set. Great quality, control, and style. The carbon fiber surface combined with a 16mm polymer core delivers excellent responsiveness, allowing for high control and impressive spin on every shot. It's lightweight yet feels solid in the hand, making it ideal for long matches without causing arm fatigue. My kids totally can handle it. The paddle has a comfortable grip that fits perfectly in the hand, truly a perfect fit for us. I was impressed with how easy it is to use straight out of the packaging, with no break-in period needed. The great design adds a stylish edge to the court, especially in the vibrant pink finish. Overall, this paddle delivers consistent results and feels great with every swing. It's a solid choice that combines comfort, and performance in one sleek package. Great value set.

My family started playing pickleball this Spring and have fallen in love with the sport. Like most, we began with a standard starter set from Target to see who wanted to pursue the game. The kids are still learning, but we adults with some racket sports experience wanted to try a more advanced paddle, so I ordered this AKS Performance Series Pickleball Paddle - Toray T700 Carbon Fiber Surface paddle. Its performance and enhancement of my skills has well surpassed my expectations. Right away I found I could easily control my shots and increase spin given the improved surface texture and larger size. Here are my additional favorite features:* The upgraded grip stayed comfortable throughout play, no more sweaty grip or sore spots.* The paddles carbon fiber surface and its light but thicker core give me more connection with the ball allowing me more serve and ground-stroke spin with much better placement control. I’m making shots I couldn’t with my beginner paddle* Its fatigue reducing balanced weight and secure grip are a vast improvement over a starter set* It’s tournament approved, so I know it is quality built with a professional look, and will support skills I have not yet mastered* The subtle graphic gives it a very professional look* The zippered neoprene cover and extra grip tape were an appreciated bonus* It comes beautifully boxed, very upscale, perfect for thoughtful gifting

The ease with which I was able to successfully put bullets precisely where I wanted was something that impressed me from the very beginning of my rally. Every tiny change of the wrist results in a perfect trajectory for the ball because of the narrow profile and the solid carbon surface. Instead of having to scramble to catch up, I am able to keep my opponent on their toes while I am working them side-to-side because I am able to maintain that level of responsiveness. It has never seemed to me that the paddle has taken precedence over my aims; rather, it has the effect of amplifying my natural feel. My ability to perform precise topspin drives and forceful backspin drops with equal ease is made possible by the rough carbon weave, which grips the ball as it makes contact with the shaft. Through the use of spin serves that kick just over the kitchen line, I have been able to surprise my opponents during weekend competitions. I then proceed to set up a soft dink that glides over their extended paddle. Over the course of many matches, such unanticipated curves have been the deciding factor. Despite its performance reputation, this paddle never seems like it's going to be too difficult to use. As a result of the core's ability to absorb stress, even extreme drives are accompanied by pleasant feedback rather than painful vibrations. When I release a full backswing on a third-shot drive or softly push a volley into an open corner, I like how each stroke feels firm but forgiving. This is true regardless of the situation.

I've always wanted to learn how to play pickleball, and luckily, one of my colleagues has been playing for many years. I asked him to teach me, and since I’m a beginner, I figured it would be a good idea to invest in a decent paddle. That’s when I chose this pickleball paddle. When I first held it, it felt light and looked pretty cool. My colleague took a look and said the quality was great for practicing control and power. We went to a nearby court to try it out, and the paddle felt smooth to use. It was comfortable to grip, and the 5.5-inch extended handle and sweat-absorbing shockproof grip made it really easy to hold, even during longer sessions. After practicing for almost an hour, my hands didn’t get tired. The paddle surface has a slightly textured feel that helps generate some spin but isn’t too difficult to control, perfect for a beginner like me.While we were playing, my colleague gave me tips on positioning and how to apply power. He mentioned that the sweet spot on this paddle is pretty large, which makes it easier to hit the right spot during practice. With his guidance and such a great paddle, I felt like getting started wasn’t as difficult as I thought, and I found myself enjoying the game more and more. It also comes with a paddle cover and two spare grip tapes, which is convenient.
