All Aluminum Carry On Luggage 22x14x9 Airline Approved Heavy Duty Hard Shell Suitcases Zipperless Suitcase with TSA Lock, Black, 20 Inch

This lightweight all aluminum suitcase is made extremely well and definitely will give competitors a run for their money. The outer shell is made from one piece of aluminum, eliminating seams, which are typically weak points. Additionally the corners of the suitcase are reinforced, adding to its overall durability. With that being said, from the top to bottom, from the inside to the outside, it feels like every aspect of this luggage has been thought out and upgraded. The hinges, the zippers, the telescoping handle, the latches along with the hard shell exterior are made of durable materials that are designed to withstand the abuse luggage handlers put them through. The only area of this luggage I think may be an issue are the wheels. They do roll smoothly on a variety of surfaces, but I am not sure how they will hold up over time. This luggage also come equipped with TSA approved combination locks, which are designed to add yet another layer of protection for your belongings.There are two things to keep in mind when considering this luggage. First and probably the most important is that this piece of luggage meets the airlines size requirements to be considered a carryon. Second, is the fact that this luggage does not expand. The space it offers is all of the space you will have. You can’t buy too many souvenirs while on vacation and hope to cram them into this luggage. With that being said, if you travel a lot and are looking for a quality piece of luggage that will last, than you might want to considered giving this one a try.

This is a solid, very sturdy, great looking piece of carry-on luggage. This is the first set of luggage that i have ever used where it does not use some sort of zipper closure, and I am very impressed with the quality of this snap closure. It is very solid and secure. The only complaint i have is that you need to be very careful that you don't have anything spilling over as it really affects how well this luggage closes. The handles are very sturdy, and extend, collapse easily. Wheels are nice and smoot for operation in all directions.The reason for the 4 star vs 5 star is that I feel like I am a bit disappointed in the overall volume of clothes i could fit into the case. I feel like i have other sets of carryon luggage that also fit onto planes that i can carry more items in. Now, those ones don't look as nice, but they also were much cheaper. Overall, this is a great case, that looks great and will become my regularly used one, but just wish it had a bit more room in it.

I travel for work frequently and quite often it is overseas. One thing I learned early on is to always keep at least one change of clothes in your carry on in case your checked luggage gets lost, delayed or routed incorrectly which actually happens frequently. This carry on is the perfect size to keep you within the carry on size limits but has enough room for a couple outfits plus lots more. I have also been on flights that were full and the overhead compartments were already full and they asked if anyone would volunteer to check in their carry on. If that happens I feel safe doing it as I know this case is sturdy enough to protect anything inside. If you have ever watched luggage get loaded and unloaded from a plane you know that they takes some serious abuse. This bag will take it. Also I sometimes travel to Portugal and like to bring home a couple bottles of Port wine. While you can't bring that in a carry on, while on the way home I would check this bag with those inside and know that they would arrive safely. This bag is very well made, easy to use and has all the features you need. And while it isn't cheap I expect it will last me many years and be well worth the price.

We travel a lot and generally prefer not to check bags, so it feels like we are forever in search of the perfect carryon. I think we have finally found it in this bag! It is an awesome suitcase all the way around - here's why:1. It is a very nice design that is pretty unique (even for a black suitcase) so it's attention getting and sleek. It almost feels like you are carrying around some top secret documents or highly valuable items...even if it's really just...your clothes, ha ha.2. There is extraordinary attention to detail in this bag's design...something that I can't say I seen in many carryons, even high end designer ones. The zippers, the latches...all look like thought was put into them. The interior as well. This is a nice touch and makes the bag feel like it's a lot more expensive than it actually is.3. It is just as nice on the inside as on the outside - segmented chambers that zip and strap down respectively, so you can keep your items safe and secure inside. The lining is very nice and high end feeling, there are pockets that velcro closed/open for storing small items...lots of little touches inside too that make this an incredibly useful bag.4. It has a lot of capacity...almost to the point where I can't believe this is still under the threshold of a carry on at 20". You can pack a week's worth of clothes in here if you are traveling during warm months/to a summer climate...even if you are a bit of an over-packer. If you are a minimalist, then you can probably get even more than that. I am somewhere in between those things and got 4 days worth of clothes and other things in here with room for souvenirs, which surprised even me.5. The handle is very innovative in that it telescopes AND stays in several positions. This is something I've never seen in ANY other hard side rolling bag, at least not to this level of customizing. That's pretty neat and makes for a lot of options on carrying your bag and storing it, etc.6. It has locks etc already on board that are TSA approved so no need to supply your own. Nice!7. The handle is incredibly comfortable and easy to use...and it "soft closes" - meaning it rebounds slowly so it does not slam against the suitcase. This might not seem like a big deal, but when you are trying to pack quietly so you don't wake anyone else up, this matters. And it saves wear and tear on your bag for sure.8. The corners are tapered and covered in aluminum which makes this bag very aerodynamic and sturdy. Even if you should drop it or bump it harshly, it still stays solid and un-dinged. This is a carry on so you'll probably never check it, but in the event of a full flight where you are forced to/asked to by airline employees, it's nice to know it will be just fine no matter how it's handled by baggage personnel.***A note on this: if you have ever needed to take a commuter style small plane to a municipal airport, you probably already know - you can't "carry on" suitcases since there's nowhere to do that on a Cessna etc. You've GOT to "check" that bag and put it in the cargo hold. So that's a spot where this kind of construction is an extra piece of insurance that your bag will stay in good shape!9. NO ZIPPERS. I repeat...NO ZIPPERS! Not sure why more suitcases do not do this but they really SHOULD! I hate having to use zippers sometimes...have had too many close calls on slightly full suitcases where something has been too close to the teeth and torn through bags, etc or the zipper has jammed or ripped. UGH. That cannot possibly happen here, and I couldn't be more thrilled. That alone makes this bag worthwhile if you ask me...it's just so much MORE secure this way. And, obviously, it makes closing and opening the suitcase a lot faster too.10. Not only are the handles quiet...the whole bag is quiet! The wheels roll super smoothly and don't make a single peep. Not even when they are rolling on something that is not 100% smooth. They also spin all the way around in a 360 degree motion with no issues whatsoever. Makes things SO much easier!The only thing that is a bit of a concern is that the bag is kind of heavy even when it's empty. That is no doubt because of it's solid construction, so it's not a downside because hey, suitcases are expensive. You want them to be durable and last for a long time. That might be an issue if you have a problem with lifting a bag into the overhead compartment etc. But really, I feel like that is a trade off which is worth it in exchange for knowing this is a bag that you are not going to have to replace while on a trip because it broke, or you lost a wheel, etc. This has happened to me...it's a royal pain in the butt. I'd much rather just eat my Wheaties that day so I can lift it than have it be a flimsy bag that I need to replace in 6 months.If the price is giving you a hesitation, I will say this: I have paid more for bags that are not made nearly as well as this one is. With luggage, you truly DO get what you pay for. I'd much rather pay a little more for a bag that I know will last than have to buy new ones every 5 or 6 trips. This one is so sturdy that I feel like the only way you would destroy it would be if you threw it from the airplane at 20,000 feet or off a cliff LOL. Since you are likely not going to do that...this bag is a good investment. Take it from a frequent traveler :)I can't recommend this suitcase enough. While I have a few carryon bags I'm really fond of...this one is now the GO TO for every time I'm on the go, no matter where I'm going. I would rate it 5 MILLION stars if I could! Excellent!!
