Make sure you check to see which wiring harness is on your machine before ordering this. I ordered the model that massive internet research suggested was the correct one, only to discover that the model I have has a two wire connector, not one. I had to leave my engine apart for another two days waiting for this one to arrive. This one fit perfectly and fixed my battery charging problem.

changed out the old 2 circuit stator (for battery and headlights) for this one that puts all that energy into the battery instead. it was seeming a bit finicky at first, not sure if it was my connections or what. but i managed to get about 30 watts from it around 1.6A with full throttle. did this on a craftsman 12hp.
