A family member recently joined the Navy and is currently completing a stint at boot camp where no cell phones, social media, or computers are allowed. Cards and letters are the only allowable means of communication and staying in touch. I ordered three sets of different postcards to have available to hand out to friends and family to send. This set is the priciest of the three. The card stock is nice and thick which the ad states is the thickest the Post Office allows to be mailed without an envelope (that in itself was a fun fact!). The back of the card is just like any postcard with room for a few sentences and the accompanying address. The front is glossy print that is clear, crisp, and brightly colored with the fun fact highlighted in a white "bubble." The unique and attractive thing about this set are the fun facts about American icons. The trivia are interesting, entertaining, and educational. The subjects range from ice cream trucks, to banjoes, to crayons, to jelly beans, to school buses and loads more. As soon as the cards arrived the first thing I did was sit down, unwrap them, and read every single one; the information really was quite amazing with many making me smile. The purpose of the cards and letters sent to boot camp is not only for staying in touch but also to provide support and encouragement; if a little comic relief can be offered then that is only icing on the cake. These cards certainly do all of that making the extra cost, for me, quite justifiable. I highly recommend this set of post cards. Even in our IT world a card or letter always brightens someone's day! I wanted to do something different this year so decided to send these postcards to my friends and family for the 4th of July. They have little USA trivia facts on front of each card that everyone enjoyed

My Grandson went out of the country for an extended period of time and to keep in touch, I bought these to send on a frequent basis. They came un damaged have interesting facts of this great country of ours which started a few conversations between us. This is a good buy!

My kids love fun facts and these postcards are great! I love reading them, then writing my notes on the them and then when my kids receive the postcards we talk about the fun facts they show.

The "AMERICANA FUN FACTS" postcards are so fun! I went through all of them and can't wait to send them out to friends and family that are out of town. The fun facts they have on the front will make getting these postcards extra fun. They don't just get a written postcard, which is rare to get these days, but also a fun fact.

These cards were perfect. I was looking for postcards to send my mom who lives in another state in assisted living. I thought these cards would be a fun way to let her know I am thinking about her. I wrote something brief on each card - reminiscing either about the fun fact on the card or the memory that it brought. Then I sent one card every day to her. These cards helped give me ideas (because of the fun fact) and they were good stock and beautiful pictures. Thank you so much!

I am new to "postcrossing" - sending postcards to people all over the world. Sometimes people you know, many times new people you are put in touch with and may one day become fast friends with. Being from the USA I wanted post cards that I could send to my post-card pals that showed something about the US and these fit that criteria. They also have a little "dun fact" on each one that I thought would offer a little piece of interest to my postcard. I am an Aussie by birth, so these cards were also of a lot of interest to me, before I even sent them!The cards are on good quality card stock, and in a standard format and size for mailing. I was just a little disappointed that some of the "facts" were a little silly or childish, so perhaps might be taken the wrong way by more mature penpals. That's my only complaint. I guess this is where personal choice and being mindful of cultural diffferences is important. Sending with respectfulness in mind is always a good yardstick. Overall I liked these cards and 20 in a pack is good value!
