This actuator was a perfect fit for my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab rear right door. Installation was a bit tricky but that's the fun part! It does make a relatively loud actuation sound on lock and unlock, but nothing concerning. It works as advertised and fixed all my issues other than the rust on my fenders.

The plastic clips on these are so weak!100% breakage! I ended up changing the components from the OEM original latches over to these. Total waist of time putting this in the door only to snap the clips and have to take it out again! This job is already very difficult, and to sell me a part that breaks on install is a total insult. I won't waist my time again with this brand!!

I put this one beside the oem actuator and could not see the difference. Works perfectly!

Cheap. Great if you're selling your vehicle. Mine was purchased June 2021, worked great for several months and has made a horrible screaching noise for several months now.

After watching a couple online installation videos, this installed in about a half hour. Getting the old one out was hardest part for me. Once installed, this worked fine. Compared side by side the original is obviously higher construction quality so time will tell about longevity. After everything was tested and reassembled, this actuator is a little louder than the original but operates perfectly. Child lock also worked properly. My installation: Remove screw from door panel near the door handle. Remove door handle by removing its screw and sliding out. Slide door panel up and off then disconnect its electrical connector. Peel the plastic barrier film back about 25% of door from top corner to expose the main opening accessing the actuator. Swing the window guide rail out of the way of the actuator by loosening the top 10mm bolt of the window guide on top face of door, removing its torx bolt at bottom side of door, then reach in door interior and swing it out of the way. Remove the three rod connections to the actuator by rotating their locking clips and lifting them out of actuator. Unbolt the actuator by removing its 3 bolts from side of door. Snake the actuator out of the door and disconnect its electrical connector. Reinstall new unit by reversing the steps, then test it out. It’s tight quarters, particularly for trying to open up the old locking clips, but is definitely a do-able job.I would recommend as an economical option to replace a bad actuator.

I got this, installed it and everything went great but didn't fix my issue of the door not locking and unlocking. Unfortunately didn't figure this out till I installed this, oh well I got a new lock actuator.!!!!!Check your wiring from the cab to door harness under the rubber boot in between the cab and door when you open it!!!!!!I found out I had 5 wires that stress broke. Wired them back together, now everything works.2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel Crew Cab

This wasn't that easy to install and the materials are of low grade plastic so not working correctly. Locks but doesn't unlock.
