we are new to scuba. we researched and settled on this aqualung i300c wrist computer. we ordered two. imagine my surprise upon realizing that the low battery icon was on - new out of the box. i returned it.my wife opened her box. there was no low battery icon. she began making changes to the various settings when she realized that the low battery icon now appeared on her wrist computer too. we are returning that one also.i understand that with time i will need to change the battery. which is a process unto itself. and run the risk of damaging the computer. i felt that was downstream. not with a new out-of-the-box product.if you are contemplating purchasing one of these, i recommend an in person situation. because then, prior to purchasing, you can press the two buttons to turn on the unit. if the battery is low (1) the low battery icon will appear and (2) the backlight won't work. check battery level first.

It was so easy to use on scuba diving! It worked well and was effective on recording my dives. The only thing that was hard was when it recorded just one dive with two tanks instead of splitting the tank times to two dives and it could not be adjusted manually to split them.

When you compare this to the I200C or i330R, it way too big and clunky for no reason. With these two other products on the market, I wonder why Aqua Lung the still sell them?

I hate to leave a bad review for this dive computer because I love the design and the features. The documentation is very easy to understand. And the DiverLog+ app that it connects to is elegant and convenient. But the battery compartment flooded the first time I used it. I returned it and bought another one from a different seller. This time the computer gave me an "altitude" error, and it wouldn't leave dive mode even after I returned to the surface. It kept thinking I was 4 feet under the water when I was walking around on land. Therefore I had to return it, and sadly I will have to look to other manufacturers for my next dive computer.

I am a long time diver, but doing less and less diving. I wanted to change dive computers to something that was Bluetooth compatible to go along with my online log book (Mac-Dive). I chose the i300C for it’s relatively simple user interface, the connectivity and the price. The dive computer does what anyone would expect it to in so far as tracking your dive stats. The connection process was a bit touchy, but I’m not sure if that’s the i300C’s issue or the Mac-Dive issue. Either way, I’ve been able to get all my dives loaded from the i300C into my log.I would recommend this dive computer to any entry to mid level divers.

After researching online and reading many reviews of different brands, I went for this unit. Its functions are good enough for what any new diver will need. Thought it is quite bulky the shape is comfortable and looks nice. The only problem for me is the very long strap which for a skinny wrist will be quite annoying and I'm actually thinking of cutting it off. Unless a new shorter strap set will be sold separately in the future. If you use a dry suit It or your a big guy/girl it will work perfect. Some remarks were not really good about the screen lighting but I did a night dive and believe me it is bright and you can see what you need to see. During the day of course you will not notice much of a difference. My only concern is about the CF feature and when this is actually recommended to be use. I used it on a double dive and it went on DECO mode after 20 min of my second dive. I guess I may not needed to have that one in my case but there is no much of details in the manual about when is recommended to use the CF on or not.Another features that got my attention was the Bluetooth connectivity for sure. The connectivity with my phone was good, all data get transfer to the app on the spot. I like the fact I can adjust settings on the phone and sync to the dive computer without having to go menu by menu on the device itself. The app though still need some improvements but it is not developed by Aqualung so that's another topic to take somewhere else.Another nice thing is that you can replace the battery yourself when need it. and the software firmware can be updated from the app if need it.So far I'm really happy with it and looking forward to more fun dives.Packaging and quality of the product was great. I read some other brands send used or refurbished items...PS: If someone have any experience about the CF will be great to hear too...

I used this dive computer when I was completing my Scuba Certification. It was a shop loaner that did it's job and that about all that I could ask for one. When I was looking to purchase a dive computer, the sexier ones definitely caught my eye. But it ultimately came down to a) well known brand and b) easy connectivity to a computer or app. Many of the dive computers on the market sold a cable separately or included Blue Tooth at a premium. I feel the i300c is a good value for a DC that has bluetooth by default and an easy to use App for tracking dives. The one draw back is the size of the DC. It's not a good "every day" watch as far as a wearable, but it does its job and does it well.

I have been free diving and scuba diving with this for a few months. I have an iPhone with the DiverLog+ app and absolutely love the combination. While the two button system makes the i300C easy to operate and navigate menus, the connection to the app simplifies the whole menu process. I am able to easily enter my desired settings and send them to the i300C via Bluetooth. Also, the log system is simple to use, and quick to download data. My only complaint is app-related, which has some odd “-isms” that need to be fixed and I think would make life easier, but in no way impacts how great this dive computer is.
