Company, support & product is a scam. unable to connect brand new product with 2 inch pvc (as instructions and diagrams detail) because the connectors do not accept 2 inch, nor does 1.5 inch pipe work, with connectors. However, using connectors is required as per Warranty. Customer support is nonexistent. Replies to email address is nonexistent after months of attempts. Website offers a contact us page "below" but doesn't display such "below" & no phone number offered.

Pump 4 stars it works well, easy installation and no issues self priming. Had it for close to 2 years., when the timer failed. The timer seems to be the weak component for this pump. Customer Service is excellent, within 2 days of sending my invoice and video evidence of the failure I had a full refund. I opted for the refund as I could not wait for shipping. For a replacement I bought the same model without the timer, I already had a mechanical timer that I could use. The pump is reliable and a good performant, customer service is impeccable, 5 stars for the incredible warranty support.

This pump is noise. You lose power and you have to restarted again manually. Does not start automatically. It lasted less than a year, it went bad. Amazon does not sale it anymore.

The pump has good power and works well, but the timer is not so good. In less than 1 year I have to go out and reset the timer to start the pump everyday. I will have to check the battery, but it shouldn't go bad this fast.

I am very disappointed that my pump stopped working after having it for 7 months. I purchased my Aquastrong pump July 1, 2023 and it just stopped working about a week ago. There is power to it but the motor will not start. I contacted their warranty dept. Sat 2/3/24 via email and have not received a response as of yet. I called their "international" number off their website and got a recording in Italian that I cannot understand and then was disconnected. I really hope they get back to me for a replacement so that I can give a better review. Hoping to get this resolved before my inground pool turns green. Aquastrong - please get back to me.

I installed this pump about a month ago and so far its performance has been great! Due to old existing wiring and this pump having different dimensions than my previous pump I completely rewired and replumbed the system.There was no need to modify the filter basket at all like some reviewers have said. As long as you install it correctly, everything matches up and it works like it should. The pump self primes easily if you have a small air leak in your system (some of my rubber gaskets need replacing). The timer is a nice feature also instead of using the old electro-machanical ones. The only issue with it is if you turn the pump off or on to backwash or something then it messes up the cycle you previously set (such as a 10 hr cycle starting at 8 AM) so it would be better if you could set actual times on it instead of just a cycle length of time, but that’s a minor inconvenience.Overall seems like a great pump, super quiet running, and fairly easy installation with some plumbing and electrical knowledge.

This pump is strong. The timer takes some getting use too. It has a small battery behind the cover and if it goes dead the pump will not work. The pump sometimes cuts off when turning off and won’t come back on for awhile. Maybe a safety thing maybe a quirk but it’s always come back on. The filter basket does need another screen installed as the debris goes right across and clogs up the inlet for the pump. Needs a hump built into it to provide more area for debris to get caught or like I and others did an extra piece of filter screen in the middle. I like the pump has a fan on the motor that cools it when running. My old Hayward pump did not have that and would be very hot to the touch. Unsafe for small children that don’t know better. Very satisfied so far.
