We installed this 18,000 BTU unit to heat our 4,500-gallon, 15’ above-ground pool in northern Illinois, and it’s been a game-changer for extending our swim season into the spring. Under our conditions it keeps the water up to ~30°F warmer than the outside air, making the pool comfortable well before summer began.A few weeks ago we had a condensation issue inside the display/control panel. Their customer support was outstanding, and the issue was completely resolved within two days.I’ll absolutely be considering their larger heat pumps and other equipment as I plan for a future in-ground pool.
