I bought this 10x12FT tarp for a specific need – covering a section of my roof during a repair – and it performed flawlessly. The 16 mil thickness and waterproof nature meant I had complete peace of mind, even during a significant downpour. The tear resistance is excellent, and the reinforced grommets held up perfectly under tension. Beyond that, it's clearly versatile enough for camping, cars, or any other large protective need. This isn't your average thin blue tarp; it's a serious piece of equipment. Highly recommend for its quality and reliability.

When I initially looked at the tarp, I was disappointed by the smell of the plastic & the lack of workmanship at each of the corners. For over $20 I would have expected all four corners to be nicely finished and NOT have stringy fibers showing. After reading some other reviews it sounds like this is not a mistake, but rather the norm for this product. If you can look past the excess frayed fibers extending beyond the grommets, you will see that the rest of the tarp looks pretty good. It appears that there is a glued down fold around the entire exterior of 2” +/- with some type of cording inside. I’m pretty sure the smell is from the glue. All the side grommets are intact and worked good for us. They are varied in spacing slightly, approximately 2 feet apart. It feels very rigid which makes me think this will work good for securely covering my dump loads and coving my firewood pile in the winter. I really don’t feel that I got a great value from this product for the price, but it will work. I plan to cut the excess off with some tin snips I have since it’s too thick for normal scissors to cut. Hope that helps!

This woven tarp is coated with a waterproof material and the tarp is on the thicker side. I received the size I ordered and it looks like a decent tarp. The corners are reinforced, but it's a total joke. The material on all four corners arrived completely frayed. I literally just received this tarp a few hours ago, and we're expecting snow, so I thought "excellent time to use my brand new tarp to cover...", you know, something in the yard that should be covered. Started to unwrap the tarp, and saw the corners, completely disintegrating already. They were never finished properly.Unfortunately, if I could return this I would.

this tarp is pretty solid. it’s thick and does a good job keeping things dry. easy to fold and store, which is nice. but the grommets are spaced weirdly apart, making it tricky to secure tightly in some situations. not a deal breaker of course but worth noting.

I needed a new tarp to use as a foot print for my large family tent when camping so I decided to give this one a try. While the size is accurate, the material feels low quality and not heavy duty by any means. It will work for what I need it to do, but I am afraid it will easily tear with the gravel underneath the tent hence the three stars.

It came with what looked like small burn holes, maybe cigarette. The first time it removed it it ripped. I checked to see if there was a sharp object and there was not.
