It is a really heavy made glass, not plastic it is glass. The Eagle,Globe, and Anchor in the glass is very well done. I spent close to 13 years in the Marines and this is my favorite glass. I do not know if it is dishwasher safe so I all ways hand wash it.

We had similar glasses purchased at Parris Island 17 years ago, and I wanted to replace them. Four glasses arrived in great condition and well packaged. I have washed them several times in the dishwasher already and see no issues with the emblem coming off or fading. If we need more, I'd get these again.
