Fit surprisingly well. The packaging was adequate but it didn’t come in a box. I was just wrapped in foam paper, a cloth bag and the plastic.Perfect for airsoft or larping. The pads are thick and provide adequate protection. The screw points do protrude into the helmet but they can be hidden behind the pads.

As a Vine reviewer, I recently received the Atairsoft PJ Type Airsoft Helmet Set in MCBK. This is my initial impression and personal opinion, focusing specifically on its potential for modifications beyond its intended airsoft/paintball use.I'm planning to repurpose this helmet as a platform for mounting sports cameras. With that in mind, my initial assessment is based on its suitability for this specific application.**Pros:*** **Price Point:** For the price, this helmet offers a decent value. It provides a solid foundation for modification without a significant investment.* **Material:** The helmet is constructed from lightweight ABS plastic, which is a positive for extended wear, especially with the added weight of cameras. The included helmet cover seems durable, with a soft-touch, waterproof and scratch-resistant material, adding a layer of protection and aesthetics.* **Accessory Rails and NVG Mount:** The side rails are a great feature, offering compatibility with a wide range of helmet accessories that could be adapted for camera mounting. The integrated NVG mount is also a potentially useful feature for securely attaching a camera setup.**Cons:*** **Sizing and Fit:** The helmet runs a little large. I wear a 7.25 hat size, and it feels somewhat loose. This might be easily remedied with thicker padding inside or aftermarket sizing solutions.* **Chin Strap Discomfort:** While the adjustable chin strap does ensure stability, I find it uncomfortable. I am considering replacing the entire internal harness system, possibly opting for a system with an adjuster button to eliminate the need for the chin strap altogether for more comfort.**Overall:**Despite the sizing and chin strap comfort issues, the Atairsoft PJ Type Airsoft Helmet Set offers good value for its price. Its lightweight construction, accessory rails, and NVG mount provide a solid base for modifications for sports camera mounting. While some adjustments will be necessary to achieve a comfortable and secure fit, particularly for those with smaller head sizes, it's a worthwhile option for those looking for an affordable and adaptable helmet platform. I'll update this review once I've completed my modifications and tested it in the field.
