these replaceable brush inserts are the way to go. I saw this vacuum head in walmart late 2022, used it all season in 2023, its a respectable pool vacuum, been scrubbing my pool all summer for 24 years now. Opened the pool early june 2024 and found a swamp blanket on the liner. This brush did a nice clean up. By the time i was finished, i found one section of bristles had wore down. Found these 3 replacements here, and they look like an exact fit.

I purchased these brushes for my Poolmaster "Big Sucker" leave vacuum head (bought on Amazon). These brushes are a must have if you have dirt or algae residue in the pool. The "fine particle" optional bag clogs up quickly (with heavy residue) and is virtually useless without these brushes. I am happy with both the vacuum and the brushes. This setup is far superior to using the vacuum head that goes with the pool filer because the hose keeps clogging up and you go thru a ton of DE. The Big Sucker works off a garden hose and uses a collection bag.

Good bristles, slightly bent on ends and most importantly a bit to narrow for my cleaning head. Used oldcredit card strips to keep from falling out, or you could glue them, which might cause a problem to replacein the future.
