The short version is that so far this manifold seems to be working amazing for me. Easy to install and works great, I didn’t have to make any modifications and had no issues with it. I installed it on a 2005 crown Victoria p71. I’ll come back with any updates of anything goes wrong but if you don’t see an update thaf means everything’s still going fine. The long version. I don’t often leave reviews but hopefully someone in my shoes can benefit from this. I was pretty skeptical about ordering a cheap manifold for my crown Vic. I have heard and read so many complaints of them giving problems. Vacuum leaks, coolant leaks. Etc. Even the Dorman one has many horror stories. Everyone reccomends the OEM ford one which is like $700. I paid less than that for my car. So when this one posted as a used item for a cheap price I decided to take the chance. I was pleasantly surprised, she runs smoother than she’s ever ran before! I didn’t have to make any modifications or buy any extra parts. It’s a thing of beauty when things go well first try like this. I hood it holds up but as of right now I can recommend this manifold

Son’s car heater hose broke off the stoke manifold and didn’t want to pay $1000 + at a shop. Amazon 2 day delivery and installed in about 4 hours. Some of the stock bolts won’t be needed as they provide self tapping bolts for the coil packs. So all in all it’s working great. Fingers crossed.

This product should not be allowed for sale it is absolutely horrible fit finish functionality Etc. It may fit an 01 Mercury Grand Marquis but it doesn't fit correctly in the functionality of intended design, does not come with instructions on tightening sequence does not come with correct Hardware Etc. The product ended up making vehicle smell like burning plastic coming out the tailpipe. They were plastic slag everywhere on molding. There is absolutely nothing positive about this product. This product definitely belongs in the land field.

Had an 07 that needed manifold work. Didn’t want to spend a lot on a Ford manifold as I wasn’t going to keep the car. I picked up this ATP one and installed. Very easy install. Instructions were clear and the built in gasket was great. Honestly I have 0 complaints. It went super smooth and fixed the issues. Alternator bracket was easy and I didn’t mind switching the hardware for the coils. I think I overtightened one bolt on the throttle body but that’s it. No biggie. The only downside (and I won’t even knock stars odd because this is an issue for almost any plastic aftermarket intake manifold) is that it’s an NPI design manifold that is converted for PI design. Long story short the heads were changed in 2001 and most companies just adapted the molds they had to the new head design but not actually changing anything else. All in all you’ll lose maybe 10hp and some torque. Honestly that’s it. For my 2007 it really wasn’t an issue as it was a daily. But if that is a deal breaker for you then now you know.

Would definately pay the xtra money for the Dorman in the future! where to start? 1ST It did not plug and play on my 2008 Crown vic POLICE. The coolant cross over on this manifold has 2 threaded holes. I suppose 1 is for a sensor to be threaded in and the plug provided is to plug the unused hole?? WELL my manifold has no holes drilled for a sensor so I had to drive 31 miles to get a 2nd. hole plug! 2ND as indicated by anothers review, the bolts from the orig manifold for the fuel rail could not be used from the start to reconnect the fuel rail! they did not thread the holes deep enough in the replacement. My mechanic had to rethread the holes deeper and still had to use 3/16 washers to take up screw length. 3RD when he attempted to install the throttle body assembly, he ran into the same damn problem, He had to take the throttle body back off and RETHREAD the body mounting holes deeper to use the orig hold down bolts. So be prepared! for modifications if you plan using this on the 2008 Police Crown Vic. If yours does not have a coolant passage sensor, better buy the 2nd. plug before starting!

Great piece has non threaded coil hold down holes which uses supplied self taping screws, works fine as a replacement intake, no other issues when installing or in use.

okay guys n gals heres the scoop, i was a ford tech from 2002 -2007, i have about 20 years automotive tech expeiriance. the selling point that made me choose this manifold was that is said compatable with oem gaskets. I fail to see how. I have installed countless ford manifolds and gaskets and this manifold comes with recesses in it where o ring gaskets set in each port. oem gaskets are two one peice designed gaskets left and right. not compatable with oem gaskets. It does however come with the o ring gaskets. i do not really like the way the feul injector rail assembly is mounted with screw in to direct plastic screw hole. however it does come with the different style screws. word of advice do not overtighten these screws or they will easily strip out the holes. the passenger side fuel injectors do not fit perfect leaving them to lean a bit but the o rings help accomidate. the manifold does not come with feul injector o=riings. T me the thermostat that comes with is okay, it opens easyer than the one i already had, a thermostat that opens easier will allow coolant to cool faster which will help the manifold last longer. the manifold still has the dreaded plastic spacers which are a solid part of the whole plastic assemblt under each end of the coolant crossover which is aluminum. the worst part of this job is removing the ridiculous bracket behind the driverside rear of the engine to access the rear 10 mm bolt. there are youtube videos that will show you the whole job. on my personal car i threw that bracket as far as i could throw it and am glad it is gone. zip ties are better and allow you to reach other parts. there is room for improvement on this product. for the price i gotta say i cant complain as i see most parts today are not made like they used to be. i would recomend this intake to anyone trying to save money, engine runs good with new intake. no problems. more advice, make sure you blow all dirt out and away from old manifold before removal to prevent and debris from falling into the valves and spark plug holes. peace out, update bought and installed in 2016, no problems in 2021
