This is a nice little door closer. Install was easy and straight forward. I am using this on a an outside door that is heavy and solid wood. This little closer is just not strong enough to close it so it latches. I turned the spring as far as I could but the power is just not enough for my door.

This item works as intended. Instructions were easy to follow, so installation was a snap. The current price is well worth it, in my opinion, as well.

El mecanismo cumple su función y cierra la puerta con fuerza y seguridad. Ideal para el garaje o la puerta principal. Eso sí, hay que instalarlo con mucho cuidado o puede que no funcione de forma óptima. Me tomó un poco más de tiempo del esperado ajustarlo bien. Una vez instalado correctamente, funciona como debe.

Let me start by saying that there is nothing exactly 'wrong' with this product. Its description is accurate and it works as advertised. There are, however, a few notes of consideration I think you might like to know:- This closer is for inside-mount and thus is only for inswing doors (not stated anywhere in the description) in case you were needing it to close an outswing entry door, a screen door, or a shed door, for example.- This closer is installed with screws. If you are renting and not allowed to put screw-holes in the property, you might consider a hinge-style closer (something like this: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Self-Closing-3-5-Door-Hinge/dp/B07GF54KV8)- This is a generic (unbranded) product but not at as good a value as others on this platfurm (eg. https://www.amazon.com/Automatic-Closer-Adjustable-Closing-Black/dp/B0CBN5GHH8/144-1995868-7704742)With the above information in mind, this closer does seem fairly well made for home-use and if you have an inswing door that needs closing and you can put in screws, this will work for you.

This Automatic Door Closer works very well.We like to keep our bathroom heated to a comfortable temperature even when the adjacent rooms are not. Keeping the door shut, but not latched, is essential in order to not waste the heat. Unfortunately, our kitties are not with the program, and often push the door open. Automatic closer to the rescue!This closer was very easy to install, and did not require removing the door hinge, as spring hinges do. And it was easy to have just a gentle pressure that would keep the door shut, without closing it all the way and latching it.This closer operates very quietly and smoothly, and is just what we needed.
