I had these professionally installed by a very reputable Cartronics Dealer. They were a pain to install and I had to take them back 3 times to get the DRLs to work. I drove the Truck today for the first time in the rain. INSTANTLY, the Lights fogged from the inside. One week old and they look like Crap. Cheap China Junk. WE SHALL SEE IF AMAZON REPLACES THEM. Honestly, I don't want to replace them with the same model.

Thought it came with lights but, it's just the casing.

It’s a big upgrade in comparison to my old yellowed head lamps. Rather than spending 20$ on a restoration kit every 6-8 mo. I went ahead a purchased these. Installation was fairly easy. One thing I’d say I didn’t like was how the headlights are not aligned. Given that I’ve never adjusted headlights before, I’m not going to touch them since it don’t bother me. Still solid 5/5. Also matched them up with some brand new Lasfit led lights hi/low beam. I’d check out their website for halogen to led bulbs. Just a clean brand new feeling. Now, to restore my bumper.

A little hard to install. But I'm useless and have no idea what I'm doing mechanically. I should even be allowed a around a screw driver. So if I can do it, literally a 5 year old could figure it out. It looks nice to

So, I bought these headlight assemblies for the purpose of opening them up and putting HID projectors in them, ( or Retrofitting, as people call it.) What isn't stated in the description is that these lights lenses aren't held on by the butyl rubber that most other headlight manufacturers utilize. ( Including the stock Toyota version). These are sealed like no other lights I've ever seen before. They have a foam gasket that is perfectly shaped to the width of the gap between lens and light housing bonded by what I can only assume is cyanoacrylate ( super glue ).In short, the lenses cannot be heated up and removed, which is the typical method. I ended up cutting the housings and using the lenses with another spare set of housings that I luckily had on hand. Even that was hard to do because the foam is incredibly dense. My conclusion is that, had I bought these as just a replacement set of headlights ( not to be modified ), they would probably be the best option available that I have ever come across. The seal on these things is amazing. Unfortunately for me, that made them incredibly difficult to take apart. Of course, it's not the manufacturers fault that I chose to use them that way.

They fog up when it rains heavy and drls do not work on usa trucks. There should be a integrated drl wire instead of getting a drl adaptor for usa trucks. That way all you have to do is add a fuse tap to the headlight.

Look good but both the side lights have lots of moisture in them after the first wash!

My OEM headlights (2011 Tacoma) were both fogged and cracked. I didn't feel like paying $250+ per side, so got these for around $110/pair. They fit perfectly, and install easily enough, there are several youtube videos outlining Tacoma headlight replacement. I liked the blacked-out reflector border, as my truck is black. So far, minimal fogging after washing the truck, but no water entry from washing or rain. The fogging is due to warm housings and cold water and rapidly disappears. I had also read about aiming issues, but these will aim, the small aiming screws are turned all the way in when you get them, just back them out a bit and they work fine. The light pattern is good once you get them aimed, but a bit ...different... from OEM. I think the reflector just isn't as precise. Still shows bright, the low beams have a good cutoff and high beams project well. Time will tell about durability and how long the lenses stay clear, so I can't comment yet about that. I do believe these are made to the older OE specs; the DTRL bulb seems to sit close to the lens, like the older OE lights do, so there is the potential for these new lights to get melted by the DTRL bulbs. One solution to that is to install LED bulbs for the DTRL's

Overall, these are nice looking lights. I took off 1 star because of two issues:1) A few of the plastic clips that hold the main headlight to its bracket would not lock in place so I had to use the ones from my old headlight. Some clips were grey and some were milky white (not sure if this matters). I swapped out one clip because I had a tiny bit of play in one of the headlights and the movement seem to be coming from the clip moving inside the headlight bracket. After making these adjustments, the headlights were tight.2) I also had to file part of the headlight bracket where the large grill clips attach (see photo). It looked like the molding of the bracket left a bit too much material when compared to the old headlight bracket and I was afraid that the large grill clips would break when I tried to push them into the bracket. Photo shows the left side filed, I filed the right side as well. I did this to both headlight brackets and had no issues with assembly.Because a few of the reviews claim that they had water condensation in the lens, I ended up injecting black silicone caulk into any seams that I felt like water could enter through. This may not have been necessary but I wanted to be pro-active to prevent water from entering since my factory turn signal lights and blinkers both had water trapped in them.I posted pictures of the finished product. My old lights had chrome trim. I like the darker color that these have. It would probably look even better if I exchanged the grill out for a black one. I haven't had a chance to really test these in the dark yet but considering the cloudiness of the old headlight, I feel that I am going to see an improvement. I am using my original bulbs for now but have new ones on order. I will try and post an update once I get the new ones in and adjusted.Even with the extra work I had to do, I would buy these again because I would have spent hundreds of dollars to replace with a factory set like these.Update: I just purchased some OSRAM Night Breaker headlights and after adjustment the light output from the lens / headlight combo is definitely an improvement. I also wanted to mention that this set of headlights were packaged very well in individual boxes.
