This catalytic converter does not have enough catalyst (rare earths) in it to fully convert exhaust gases. Nothing but problems replacing O2 sensors until it finally threw the converter code again. Spend the extra money for an OEM converter to avoid these problems.

Price is awesome. Works good so far. Solved my popping through intake noise. No heat shields like factory has. Needed to heat and dent one small spot where crossover pipe was very close to hitting frame causing a vibration. Now to see how long this lasts!!!!!

Installed by my mechanic in October 2022 and barely lasted a year. December 2023 and one of the converters have broken inside. I check on the Amazon site and the warranty is 6 months. not acceptable, in my opinion. Stay away from this product as it cost me a lot of money with installation and now i have to do it again.UPDATE:The other side didn't last 2 year. Poorly constructed. I will never buy again.

overall not bad for the price , bolts were too short had to use old ones to get them to work with the manifolds, hangs lower then the cross member so its in the way of impact. the clamp that holds the two of the cats together never fully sealed and leaked off the get go and then broke when tighten down. if you are in a jam and need something cheap these will work but you do get what you pay for from a mechanics stand point.

Hardware that comes with this was not for my 2008 JKU 3.8L. Came with a spring bolt kit for the heads to cat flange connections which is not what is standard for mine and I had to machine them and customize spacers to make them work. Mine JKU has the square nut that clips on the headers and the cats just bolt to it easy. A one time use item but I didn't get any ahead of time because the proper hardware was supposed to be included. Hardware was included, just not for my Jeep version I'm assuming. Also, there is no heatshield but you can't take your stock one off an weld it on because the bends are not even close to the stock bends. You can band clamp the heat shield to it but it will not fit correctly. Better than nothing I suppose. This was a pressing issue for me and I couldn't wait the 6 weeks to get a more reputable one so due to the cost, you know the materials used are not going to be the best so another word of advice... spend $15 and get some ceramic 2000 degree spray paint to help keep this from rusting after a month.2 stars because even with the headache of having to modify the mounting hardware, it did get rid of my 0420 code though its only been a week.I should have taken photos of how I made this work with the wrong hardware but I was honestly too angry and frustrated reinventing the wheel with what I had on hand to think about it. Just do yourself a favor and verify what hardware you have and order a full set ahead of time. If you're in a bind and you have an engineering mindset, this may work out fine for you but do your homework and prep for issues.

***Reminder to replace your O2 sensors when installing new catalytic converter***Let’s put it this way, Jeep dealership wanted over 2K for just the catalytic converter, Autozone had only one for $1400. Found this on Amazon for $224 and it’s “exact fitment”. I Called a few shops and got this professionally installed with welding for $175. Car works (will update review if this causes me any problems), cheap reliable alternative.I don’t recommend doing the job yourself because without the proper tools and a lift, it’s just a headache to be on your back fixing this especially with clamps instead of welding…Just remember to replace all 4 O2 sensors. Almost always the sensors break along with the catalytic converters. If you don’t replace the sensors, your check engine light will be back on and it will be a hassle to get to the sensors that are behind the catalytic converter.

This exhaust pipe fit perfectly. No interference with the crossmemeber as other versions of this for sale have reported. Great price point. Make sure you install with a decent set of new o2 sensors. This install is for the mechanically inclined who has experience and access to tools needed to work with exhaust components.I would recommend this pipe for any jeep wrangler jk owner in need of one.
