I’m 55 years old. I’m not overweight. However, since about 35, I started feeling self conscious about sleeveless clothing. Y’all know what I’m talking about. It gets a little jiggly! I don’t mind the sleeves but when you get dressed up, most evening dresses are either strapless, spaghetti straps, or matronly. I ordered this because I thought it was very Audrey Hepburn chic and thought I’d try it. After I placed the order, I zoomed in on the photos more and wondered if I had made a mistake because it seemed like the lace looked a little cheap. It’s not! This little lace cape is exactly what I hoped it would be. It looks very old Hollywood and vintage. I’m glad I purchased.

This cute shawl is very sparkly and eye-catching. The design is very pretty and the sequins catch the light and really make it shine. The material is sheer so you can use it for some coverage but you can see through it. The only problem I had is that the workmanship is a little sloppy. There are loose threads and the area around the clasp in the front is a mess of material/threads/general chaos. I found I could take it off and on by just pulling it over my head so I didn't need to use the closure. I had to do a lot of clean-up to make it look better than how it arrived. It will be a nice addition to my evening wardrobe and add a bit of sparkle to any event.

When I saw this, I knew I wanted it. I have no idea what I'll do with it, but I wanted it anyway. Something will come up where a sequin shawl is just the thing. Maybe a Halloween party? If so, I'll be ready.When the shawl arrived, I sort of regretted that I'd ordered the black and gold instead of the all-black. The gold sequins and tiny beads are very pretty, but their color is a tad more brass than gold. I'm also not fond of the teensy hook-and-eye closure. I'll probably wear a brooch to close it instead.Those nitpicks aside, this is an adorable piece--perfect to top off anyone's flapper outfit. If you're considering it, get it. You won't regret it. (But maybe go for the all-black version).

This is really cute! The detailing and embellishments are good quality, and it's a nice topper to throw on over an evening gown or top that shows too much skin.

Unortunately the golden materials in this shawl don't match the dress but it is gorgeous. This would look great with a plain black dress and would dress the outfit all the way up. It looks nice on and can fir many different sized folks.

Love this little lace shawl! The blue color is such that it could be coordinated with a variety of navy blue dresses (so much difference in navy colors!). It adds a 20s flair to a sleeveless gown, for instance, complete with the Art Deco pattern on the shawl. I didn't notice any problems with workmanship as others have mentioned. It stays on my shoulders securely and looks quite glamorous.

Beautiful! We got this item for my wife to wear with sleeveless dresses since she has broader shoulders and doesn't like the way they look alone. This jacket is very flexible in terms of fit, and my wife loves it! It has a delicate design that she appreciates while feeling versatile and functional.
