I'm not gonna lie. When I initially received this set I was beyond happy. The thermos and cup both feel nice in your hand. Love the 2nd cap for the thermos. Anyone who owns a Stanley thermos will understand when I say this one is just as thick and heavy. Absolutely adore the rubber lid for the cup. It isn't leak proof but it is leak resistant. When I knocked it over, I was able to sit it back up and only spill about a tablespoon (15ml)My only issue is the straws. I can't let go of the fact that I can't thoroughly clean them. They are "closed" on 1 end with built in filters. Great in theory but I know I'll be too lazy to boil them after use so I won't be using them.

pros:+ great presentation+ the cup and lid are great size and fit well+ the thermos is huge+ extra spoutcons:- harp edges on one of the metal straws, doesn't seem safe to use- the other metal straw seems tarnished- there was a large solid streak on the flask running top to button, I've been able to get most of it out, but it's been work- I wish the thermos black top was also silicone or steel, so it could be safely used as an extra cup

The Balibetov Mate community was not known to me… until this! The set has a little welcome booklet scannable for español, français, italiano, and deutsch for how to prepare and enjoy Mate! I am impressed with the sleekness and functionality of this set from the flask, to the cup, to the straws. I can see this being useful for other things as well as used by other family members so it seems I will need to keep this hidden [only used by me] or order more sets. 🙄
