The ink itself is great, the white is the best I've found in paint pens. Went over the other colors in the set with almost 100% opacity on the first layer, which was very impressive. The short of it: these markers work very well on specific materials (mostly fabric). The light colors need several layers to be opaque- except the white which is one of the best white paint markers I've ever had. They can blend a little bit on fabric if you work fast enough. However I had two markers whose nibs keep sinking into the markers, making coloring difficult. All in all I think they will be great for rock painting and I will also be using them for some Halloween costume decoration. I think they are worth the price so long as you aren't looking for something super versatile and don't mind working in layers.Pros:Ink was smooth, didn’t take forever to dry, and most colors were opaque on first layer. Works well on fabric and if you have small enough designs and work quick enough, you can do some basic blending. In my photos you can see what they look like on darker, cotton-blend fabric with 1, 2, and 3 layers. One of the photos shows the black bleeding into the other colora- I was impatient and didn't wait for the ink to fully dry before doing the black outline. The bleeding into other colors does *not* happen if you let everything dry before doing other layers.Cons: does not work well on that shiny-ish white cardboard. Like poster board type material. The set came with a swatch for the colors made out of this material, and it really does not do the ink proper justice. It also doesn't work well if you're looking for a marker for coloring- it doesn't cover the outlines too well. The lighter colors need several layers to be opaque. And lastly- I have two markers that don't work properly because the nibs sink into the markers entirely, and I keep having to pull them out to color with them. I tried turning the nibs around and replacing them, but nothing worked so I think it's the markers themselves. I've had markers do that before, but having two in a set of eight was a pretty high number.

I have never found a brand of acrylic markers that require shaking that I like...until these Bandle B. acrylic markers. I am very pleasantly surprised at how well these work. I posted a picture of my finished product and I posted another picture of the same project done with another brand (non shakable) for you to compare. In my opinion, there is no comparison. These Bandle B.'s rock! In my previous project I had to stop and let the marker rest because it would run out if ink quickly or barely coat the tote. But that was not the case with these Bandle B.'s. I was able to finish this project in one sitting!! Plus, also note how much darker the red is with Bandle B. In my opinion the difference is remarkable. The tote bag I am using has a little more rough material and not heavy material that is smoother. The ink still absorbs quite nicely with these. The paint goes on smoothly and does not bleed at all - as in on the project. These markers will go through the material so make sure to place something underneath and or in between any material. I placed a thin plastic cutting mat in my tote bag.Highly recommend these. Unfortunately, I have not done any other projects (t-shirts are next) so I cannot show you any other colors.FYI: I noticed that the pictures did not capture the difference in the 2 projects that I see in person

My 7 year old is a pretty serious artist! She just had one of her drawings on display at the district art fair at the high school. Out of many kids in the lower grades in the district, she was one of 12 chosen. She really gets into art and takes her drawing seriously. Shes been big into Posca markers for a while now and uses them constantly. When I saw these, I figured it would save me a bit of money on my next Posca purchase, but I wasn't sure she'd go for it.She loves these markers. I put them on her art desk the other night and just waited til she found them. She said "Dad... I don't think these are real Posca markers!". I was chuckling in the other room. I told her I got them on Vine and to try them out. She reluctantly agreed. She started priming them and testing them out on the included card. By the time she was done with them, she had been at it for like 45 minutes. I asked her what she thought of them, and she said "These are better than Posca markers!" I couldn't believe my ears! I asked her why they were better, and she said:1) They color nicer than Posca markers do.2) They write nicer than Posca markers do.3) She loves the colors.4) The tip is reversible.I didn't understand what she meant by the tips being reversible, so I had to ask for clarification. Apparently you can pull the tip out and use the marker as either a fine tip or a bold tip marker, all in one! No more having to buy a set of skinny markers and bold markers! These are great markers. They pass the official 7 year old seal of approval process. I am thrilled I no longer have to spend big money on Posca markers!
