Out of the box all was well. It charged, and was used a few times at a party, allowing us some freedom to move around and offer prints for group photos on the fly. Put away for about 4 months, then charged again and now the Selphy unit simply does not recognize it any longer. I am not sure if this is due to new firmware just installed on the printer or a defect of this product. I guess that's expected at $40 bucks.

I've used this for several months and it works flawlessly. This is so much more affordable then the canon oem battery. You can print alot from on one battery I've never been in a situation where I've ran out.

Having this battery helps out with portability. I can now use it for my photo shoots or even photography without having cords. I've used it twice and a shoot and it did as I needed. The battery did not die and still had charge once I was done.

I don't know how this is confusing for some people, but you plug your Selphy charger into the one and only hole on the charging dock this comes with🤦🏻♂️ it's not that difficult
